We love this hotel, and it is very convenient if you are to visit Universal Studios Osaka, many restaurants and konbini nearby. Staff was helpful, we did our laundry, we sent a package, we were able to use the storage when we checked out early so we could go see one more shrine this mom wanted to see 🥰. You are basically a few steps away from JR, I kid you not! So if you want to go to other places it's not hard to move around. Have fun!!!

During the summer vacation, I took my children on a free trip to Osaka. I chose the Jide Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to meet the owner of the hotel, a lady from Guangzhou, China. She was warm and considerate and responded to domestic tourists’ requests. She introduced in detail the secrets to avoid pitfalls such as bus rides, attractions, and shopping. The hotel was clean and tidy. It is spotless and far exceeds expectations. The room is compact and warmly decorated. It has all kinds of facilities such as bathroom, shower room and kitchen. It is very convenient. It is especially suitable for all kinds of independent travelers. It is especially close to the Japan Transportation Bureau. It is on a first-come-first-served basis near water and buildings. The transportation is extremely convenient. Universal Studios, Shinsaibashi and other major attractions and shopping malls are all within a three- to five-minute walk of subway and tram exits. I didn’t even have the opportunity to try a taxi in Osaka for four days. Sister Chen will also introduce you to various taxis. Tips for saving money on rides. Haha, Sister Chen said that there is a branch in Shinsaibashi, so you can choose it next time. Also, there are shopping malls such as AEON around the hotel. The prices are cheap. The boss is nice. Very good too. Also, on the way to the bus, I passed by various houses and experienced Japanese customs and customs. I was worried that the room was too small before I went there, but it turned out to be quite big! The bed should be 1.2m long, and basically what you see is what you get. We could put our small suitcases in it without any problems (the window of the standard room we stayed in could only be opened 10cm, so we couldn't go out to the balcony). It was also quite quiet and clean, and I didn't find any unknown hair or anything like that. Although the bathroom was not big, it had everything it should have. The door of the hotel was a hidden automatic black door, and I almost couldn't find the entrance when I first arrived. Check-in was very simple, and there was no other fee. The hotel is very close to Hanazonocho Station, and there is also an Oginochaya Station nearby, which is convenient for going to Namba, Umeda, Dotonbori, Kyoto, or Nara (to be honest, the subway fee is really expensive), and there are two larger supermarkets on the left and right, and there are Family Mart and McDonald's opposite. We arrived earlier than the check in time, and are able to drop off the luggages at the reception and come back later for check in for free. The staff can speak multiple languages, (Japanese, English, Chinese,etc) able to communicate without any problem. Room is very clean and cleaning service is provided each day. Location is close to Nanba. Very convenient. Close to a metro station as well, easy to locate. Would recommend.

改装されたそうで、フロントもロビーも、部屋もキレイです。 ＪＲ新今宮駅を出てすぐだし、ほんとに泊まるだけなら安いです。 ただ、理解しておかなければならないのは、トイレ、お風呂は部屋にはありません。トイレは階に１か所の共同トイレ（男女別）です。お風呂は大浴場か、シャワールームの利用になります。私が利用した部屋は３畳の畳部屋。布団が一式。 土曜日でもう開いているところがなくて利用しましたが、泊まるところがなければ利用も全然ＯＫだと思います。とにかく料金が安いので、その辺は了解できます。土曜日でも３８００円でしたから。 プライベートはしっかり守られますので、カプセルホテルより断然いいです。バックパッカーとかにはおすすめです。 なので、若い学生さんや、工事関係の連泊、外国人さんなどが多いようです。 ただ、よくわかりませんが、ロビーやシャワールームって、宿泊者以外の人も利用している感じがするのは私だけなのかな？

We stayed at Hotel Taiyo, I do see a lot of people posting positive reviews for Hotel Toyo here, that is a diffrent hotel and definitely not this one. The hotel is outdated, run down and in desperate need of renovation. The tile are old, worn and look like they have never been properly cleaned or waxed. The furniture is shabby and uncomfortable the bed springs where so prominent it left my hips and ankles aching. Our first night we went out and bought ourselves pillows as the ones here are unusable. There was also only one plug in the room so we had to spend even more for a power bar. The whole place was filthy with dirt and dust visible in every corner. The towels were dirty, and the bathroom was again unclean and permanently smelled of piss our whole stay. The amount of dust in the vents were slightly alarming from a safety standpoint. We also had major issues with internet 90% of the time. If you need internet for work you are SOL. The staff was professional and friendly, and the overall customer service was the only redeeming quality The location was great close the the main line station and the JR line. Overall, the hotel fell way below expectations and was a terrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone

Good location, just less than 10min walk away from the main street of shinsaibashi. Affordable hotel breakfast and there is free drinks everyday that can refill

Location, facility, hospitality, food and etc everything was so perfect! Especially a man named Don from the bell desk, he was so kind. He carried my luggage to the bus stop and helped me with purchasing bus tickets to the airport. I would definitely visit Hilton if I have a chance to visit Osaka again.

We got a great deal with Trip and stayed on the Club floor for 2 nights. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find when you are walking through the mall. Checked in at the Club floor and it was very efficient. Room was very spacious and very clean. Club floor experience was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had particularly good experience with the afternoon cocktails as they made lots of different ones for us that was not the standard menu.

I've stayed at hostels before, and had a great experience till now. It's a shame to say I cancelled my stay at this hostel. Unfortunately, it fell below expectations and did not match the excellent reviews I saw online. We booked a non-smoking room, only for us to smell the smoke lingering in the room from the other guests. My father and mother, both very sensitive to the smell, had trouble sleeping and continually coughed throughout the night. And even though the hotel acknowledged this issue, they did nothing to solve it. Additionally, the room smelled like damp sweat. Even though we were supposed to be given a ”private” room, we only had a little partition separating us from the rest of the dormitory, making us feeling ill at ease when they admitted in their signs of common cases of theft in the hostel. Furthermore, their laundry facilities were absolutely terrible. We tried using the washing/drying machines, but after attempting 4 cycles of drying, the clothes were nearly as wet as when they went in. A staff member acknowledged this as an issue that needed to be fixed when I approached him, but was reluctant to do anything beyond saying he should propose for it to be put out of service so it could be fixed. We left two days in of our four night stay because the conditions grew to be unbearable. I left as soon as my family and I could find another place to stay. The staff apologized but did nothing about our negative experience. I would absolutely never recommend this hostel. There are far better places to stay in Osaka for a better price, better comfort, and better service.
