Beautiful well looked after hotel in a nice area, lovely designed modern rooms. Absolutely spotlessly clean! Great service!.
Only downside is no shops walking distance to get any emergency supplies

The breakfast room service was excellent, and we appreciated the quality of the mattress and spacious bath, which comfortably accommodated two. However, room 12A had persistent mechanical noises, possibly from piping, that disrupted sleep, especially as I’m a light sleeper. Regarding the spa, we were surprised by the £10 per hour charge, something we weren’t informed of when booking through a third-party site, maybe it’s on the official website. We’ve stayed at other spa hotels, like the Royal Leonard, where access to facilities was included. Additionally, the £50 hold was confusing. We were told it would cover room charges, but at checkout, we were charged separately for breakfast, and the hold still hasn’t been released after 5+ working days. This delay has been inconvenient. Overall, while we enjoyed aspects of our stay, we expected a bit more value for what we paid, especially for my partner’s birthday celebration.

The sound system in the treatment room didn't work, so during the treatment all I could hear was sounds of someone chewing gum/sucking a mint - not very relaxing. Masseuse didn't follow my clues about areas that needed more attention. It would be good if some clocks were available in the area as no way to know what time was and if treatment lasted as long as advertised.

- Spa isn’t free! - Old and Small TVs in room - Additional £100 additional unexpected preauthorisation deposit at check-in - Old and smelly carpets - Decor aging a bit - £5 extra per room service to bring a tray to your room, no option for you to collect the tray yourself - Room pictures don’t appear to match the reality - Nice staff, helpful and friendly - grounds are clean and tidy - Rooms are clean and tidy - Bed was comfy - Heating was readily available - Good clean bathroom and easy to use - Lifts worked fine - Very quite at night - Depending on where you are planning to go from this hotel, be prepaid to paid the toll fees for the Dartford Tunnell or Dartford crossing each way

We stayed at Orsett Hall, where we have stayed on a number of occasions and were happy to see that everything is as good as ever. Lovely room and staff very helpful. No hesitation in staying again when the occasion arises.

Fantastic place to visit for me and my wife. Last time we was there was in 2004 and it was our prom. The whole reason on visiting again was our wedding anniversary, so thought it would be nice to reattend.

Good freshly baked bread Very comfy bed Bedroom smelled heavily of Polish, overpowered the room Hotel not as nice as pics. Food at afternoon tea then reappeared in dinner menu. Very friendly staff though Massage too gentle despite asking for firmer Spa changing room not very clean
