Porto Raphael Residences & Suites

The hotel is located at the end of the main road from Tinos Town, above the beach at Agis Ioannis. The complex consists of 25 suites, most with good sea views, and plenty of steps everywhere. Misleadingly, it is sign-posted as “Hotel and Restaurant” although you’ll be unlikely to get a dinner there. There is a large car park across the road. The use of small pool is restricted. Our Seven Islands Suite was very spacious although rather sparsely furnished. It was accessed via a rather steep staircase. There was a large wardrobe and some storage in the bedside cabinets. We had a large balcony overlooking the sea and a small outside annexe for drying clothes. There was also a kitchenette with basic utensils and crockery. Kettle and milk were provided on demand. The bathroom was large with plenty of room for storing things. Slippers were provided. WiFi signal was good and AC functioned perfectly. Buffet breakfast, on the terrace by the Reception, was quite standard and rather repetitive. We dined at the Balaouro (advance bookings recommended) and Breeze restaurants on the dirt road along the beach. We really enjoyed the late drinks on the sea loungers provided by the Breeze and its hospitable owner. Perhaps try to avoid the Riviera restaurant, further along, unless you enjoy loud music and an unimaginative menu. The hotel arranged a taxi for us for one evening to go to the great Malamatenia tavern in Chora.

We just came back from this lovely place and can't say enough about how happy our experience was with them. The staff couldn't have been lovelier and property itself and views were stunning!! They take great care of the property and suites. We are so glad we discovered this place and would most definitely recommend it as well as return. Our only criticism is this...it lacked 2 comfortable interior chairs. The only real comfortable place to sit was on the bed. That said, we would definitely return, even if it didn't have those 2 comfortable chairs. Thank you Porto Staff for our LOVELY stay with you. Thank you too for taking such great care of us.

A lovely set of apartments overlooking a beach and Mykonos. Immaculately kept and with great staff. A wonderful view from the pool bar. Right on a direct bus route into Tinos

First off do not go there, rooms were somewhat clean, but mosquitoes were bothering my family then we went in the pool and one of the workers told us to not jump in the pool or he will kick us out the next day we went to the pool and he kicked us out of the pool because a little robot was cleaning the pool which you can remove by hand. I’m warning you don’t go

Fabulous hotel. The brothers who run it are lovely. Room very clean with bedroom and kitchette. Complex so well laid out and spotlessly clean. Had a continental breakfast for some of our stay as it was early in the season. Delicious homemade pastries we gorgeous. Two beaches within easy reach. As it was early in the season a few of the tavernas and bars weren't open. Would definitely come back but perhaps a bit later. Beautiful spot

The hotel is immaculately maintained and beautifully clean. The owners were helpful, friendly and quick to respond to emails when we booked directly. The views over the sea are fabulous. We went at the very end of the season so the hotel restaurant was closed, which was disappointing as we did not know that in advance. But owner Iulianos gave us good advice on where to eat nearby. At this time of the year, it was peaceful and relaxing. The swimming pool is more like a very big spa pool and nowhere near as big as it looks in the photos but the nearby beaches were great.
