It’s in a great location. Walking distance to most spots. Less than a 3 min walk to the pickup spot for the hope on hop off bus. I had to ask for room slippers and a robe. Other than that it was an okay stay. They have an interesting way of obtaining free snack and drinks, make sure to check it out right beside the checkout counter.

Good location, walking distance to major scenic spots. Staff have strong sense of service, responsive to requests, unlimited supply of bottled water. The hardware facilities are quite satisfactory, clean, high definition TV, comfortable bath. Parking fee is a bit expensive, you can only park by them, nearly $60 a day.

The location is very good as you can walk all the touristic streets.
It was amazing to see the Mississippi River from the room.

The location of the hotel is good, the room is super clean and tidy, the whole hotel is in line with five points, why I didn't give five points just because the location of my room is not so good, facing the roof full of a lot of air conditioners

Modern eingerichtetes Hotel und Zimmer - wir haben 4 Nächte hier verbracht. Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Zentrale Lage direkt am French Quarter unweit vom Mississippi gelegen. Concierge sehr freundlich aber leider wurden wir falsch informiert und mit einer völlig überalterten Karte ausgestattet. Es gibt keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zur Mardi Gras World. Die Bar ist überteuert und man wir auch nicht bedient. Frühstück hatten wir immer außerhalb - es gibt sehr viele nette Lokale in der Umgebung. Eigentlich könnte man das Hotel empfehlen - ABER uns wurde leider der Zimmerpreis doppelt abgebucht (obwohl bereits im Voraus durch Reisebüro bezahlt war und nichts bei der Abreise offen war). Es hat bis September gedauert, bis das Hotel das Geld zurücküberwiesen hat (und auch nur, weil sich der Reiseveranstalter eingeschaltet hat).

I stayed here for 5 nights in May. The pros: The staff was excellent especially those in the lounge and bar. For example, there was no grits available at the breakfast serving in the lounge and the attendant asked the chef to prepare some for me which he did and they were beyond good. I fell on the street while I was there and need ice for my knee injury. The bar attendant went above and beyond to help me. The gumbo and drinks at the bar were excellent. Great location. The cons: The corner room was smaller than I expected. Seating other than the desk chair was limited to one chair in the corner. Lounge area is small. Expected higher end touches for a JW—more like a standard Marriott. I would stay again but my expectations are appropriately set.
