Disneyland Resort
This was the cheaper option for my group to stay at while in Orlando when attending Universal Studies, Kennedy Space Centre & Disney. It is an acceptable option if you intend to be out most of the day and need somewhere with a car park and a place to sleep/store your suitcases. - Room size/layout - 4/5 - Spacious area but no separation between the living space/kitchen and the bedroom - Cleanliness - 4/5 - No significant issues of cleanliness, but the disrepair made it feel less clean - Maintenance - 2/5 - Showing signs of wear and tear with scratch marks on the wall and there not even being a toilet roll holder, just a metal attachment point on the wall. Phone holder was detached from wall and constantly falling apart. - Bed - 4/5 - Firm and spacious. No complaints - Pillows - 2/5 - Very thin and unsupportive. Had to bend in half or have multiple pillows to get enough neck support - Shower - 3/5 - in tub shower, spray was rather narrow but supplied cool if not cold water and warm if not hot water - Toilet - 3/5 - Toilet roll holder broken from wall was annoying but the toilet functioned well - Towels - 1/5 - Very small towel that did not fit around my waist, extremely thin so were not able to be reused once wet - Closet - Plenty of closet space for two travellers. Around ten coat hangers - Table - A long wall desk with an L-shape kick out that was enough room for two people to eat at. - Power - 4/5 - power outlets in lamps which was convenient, no USB outlet however - Aircon - 5/5 - Excellent aircon kept the room cold for when we returned - Breakfast - No breakfast options available. - Kitchen - 1/5 - No fan in room so cooking bacon/eggs smoked the entire room up. It also did not have a tea towel for drying dishes - Room service - None - Wi-Fi - 4/5 - Yes, but not particularly fast - Parking - 4/5 - Undercover carpark was an additional cost, and it required parking then taking an elevator to the ground floor, walking across to the hotel building, then taking an elevator back up to the room. Annoying but not a deal breaker.
