Hampton Inn Chicago Orland Park

This Hampton Inn has two destination chargers. Tonight there was an internal combustion engine car (non-EV) in the EV only parking spot for the destination charger. When I report it, they did nothing to support me as a customer that booked a room here because it had EV destination chargers. They do not support guests using their EV destination chargers.

I checked in online and received my digital key only to arrive several hours later to a room with a broken toilet and no pillows on the bed. I call the front desk to notify them about this and they inform me that they had changed my room and I should have received a notification in the app. The notification that my digital key has been updated arrived conveniently after I get off the phone with the front desk. Arriving to our new room (which was not the same room type because the one we were originally in was the last available of its type) we find that it’s 78 degrees in there and the thermostat won’t cool it down past 67. The thermostat does go down to 66, but you are lucky if you are able to get it to run long enough to get to a desired temperature. I decided to go down and to check out the pool only to have issues with the digital key. After waiting in line, I let the front desk know only for them to tell me it’s “locked” and they have to let me in. I didn’t stay down there long considering there was no hot tub and the pool water looked very murky. Back to the room to sleep on the world’s smallest and flattest pillows. Between the heat and pillows, don’t expect to be doing much sleeping. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Hilton property, will not be returning.

Excellent location. Restaurants and places to shop within a 5-minute drive. The room was nice. Some of the staff is friendly. If you are looking for a smile or to be greeted this is not the place for you. The day that my room was supposed to be cleaned they just changed the towels and empty the garbage. Did not bother to make the bed. (no big deal) Overall, the stay was nice. I felt safe. I will stay here again

As a valued diamond member , I expect to be treated for the perks I deserve such as checking out at 2pm , the girl who worked in the morning who was super nice her name was K something Kayla? I dont remember besides that the manager straight up answer was NO, she is mean and her position should be reconsidered. ALSO BREAKFAST IS HORRIBLE. THE LADY WHO WORKED ON SUNDAY IS NOT CLEAN HER HAIR IS A MESS SHE ASKING US FOR TIP THAT IS DISTASTEFUL!. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Besides that the bed is nice and the remaining staff was good.

We were booked for 3 nights for a family event in Frankfort. We found the front desk less helpful and friendly than typical especially as Hilton Honors members. Hampton now cleans room every other day which is ok but our room was never cleaned or refreshed while we were guests. When we checked out we asked to speak with the manager who would not be in till following day. We called on Monday & she granted us some points to make up for the oversight. Didn’t really help us feel better. Breakfasts are decent & kitchen staff friendly & efficient. Lounge & dining area pleasant but coffee is in lobby! One oddity - no scrambled eggs on Sunday!! Served during the week. Excellent & spacious bathroom - big walk-in shower. Hotel on busy road but can walk to several restaurants.

Had to stay here due to an emergency and Koraima, the front desk host was extremely kind, responsive, and attentive with a smile when me and my mom Lynn had one of the hardest days. She was truly the best part of our stay! Rooms are clean and spacious!
