SpringHill Suites Detroit Auburn Hills

I stayed in this hotel because my home is under construction. I was extremely disappointed in how filthy the carpet was. There were stains all over it as well as the furniture and one of the mattresses. The sofa cushion's foam had completely lost its shape. I asked at the desk whether they could clean the carpet the next day and was told that it was scheduled for the following week. I was not offered the option to move to another room. The maid did not leave a packet of coffee for the second morning, took one of the coffee cups without replacing it, and also threw out my $100 Sonicare toothbrush, case, and electric charger that I accidentally left behind. I called the day after I checked out as well as the following day. The only positive thing that I can say about this location was the good breakfast that was offered. I will never recommend this location to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed in the handicap King suite and the space was very nice. Bed was firm and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and enough hand railings throughout for safety. Indoor pool area is great! Love the atrium area with umbrella table seating. There are several tables, chairs, and poolside lounge chairs as well. There is also a spa. Exercise room is small with 3 pieces of equipment, a bench, weights, but no bicycle is offered. Stephanie was fantastic ! As we were to have our breakfast near the end of the serving time , I had asked if more oatmeal was going to be made. Since it would have been a waste to do so, she offered to dish out a good serving and plastic wrap it to be enjoyed in our room later. She also handed me a serving tray. Very thoughtful and genuinely pleasant. It was nice to see whole wheat waffle batter along with regular offered. Well made scrambled eggs and sausage, oatmeal, 4 cold cereal choices, 2 yogurt choices, 4 bread choices,whole fresh fruit which included a season favorite (peaches) , and a variety of toppings for eggs and oatmeal. Hot coffee, Orange , Apple, and Cranberry juices round out the breakfast offerings. Clearly not enough seating for breakfast though. Long triple cushioned, low bench with 2 tiny tables in front, which were not sturdy or big enough for 2 plates. 19 standard chairs with tables. Along the front windows there is another bench type seating for up to 6 guests. Many guests were older making it very difficult to sit on the 9 open back bar stools. With so many sports team guests in addition to regular guests, seating could be revisited by the design team. All in all a good stay. Quiet, clean room with enough towels, microwave, refrigerator /freezer, breakfast table, ergonomic chair, and long sofa. Friendly courteous staff, clean room, nice lobby, carpeted stairwells with double hand rails, and good breakfast. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

this is an average Springhill suites....what is concerning is that if you stay multiple days, they will not clean your room or put in clean towels...it seems if you want your room cleaned daily ( towels and trash emptied) you had best make multiple reservations and check out and back in each day

It was nice very clean very nice staff the pool is salt water doesn’t make your legs itch very clean only con we had was the ac in the wall wouldn’t let us change the temperature in the room and the room water was dry

I would definitely return The concierge were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The room was tidy and the hotel was family friendly.
