7 Bedroom Orem House

Basic House First of all we chose this house because they allowed pets and due to being very close to why we were in Orem. The house is pretty basic. Like others have said, it has a lot of diy fixes and it a little run down. Something we wished we knew is that you CANNOT access the backyard from inside the house. You have to go out the front door and around to the gate. The fence in the yard is very old and missing boards so it’s not by any means secure. Also, there is NO grass in the front or backyard. It’s all dirt and dead weeds. Not a pleasant experience for the pups. Also, the little lean-to built onto the back of the garage is INFESTED with wasps. It was a gamble on whether or not we were getting stung every time the dogs needed to potty because you have to walk right by that area. There was broken glass all over the ground right in front of the gate you have to go through to get to the backyard. If you don’t care about a yard or have pets this house is big, with lots of bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The A/C works very well and it was nice and cool on one of the hottest weekends. The kitchen is pretty basic. There are no coffee mugs, glad we packed our own. Some of the cabinet doors are falling off the hinges so watch out. The house was mostly clean. The bathrooms were very clean. I did have to pick up some food off the floor in the living room and the kitchen. The basement seems to have a bit of a spider issue and we killed quite a few.

Our stay here The house was big enough to fit our whole family, which was great, and it was nice having enough beds for everyone. We brought pack n plays for the infants. And it was helpful for them to be able to take naps in a bedroom! The house is just a basic house. Not really a whole lot of extras. But the space was big enough to fit our needs. Like others have said the yard both in front and back are overgrown. And we did have an issue with the water for showers. We communicated with the owner and he said that if it persisted, he'd get someone to look at it. We were there for a short time, but the issue was there the whole time, so I think that will need to be taken care of.I don't think the owner had time to really get someone out to take a look at what the problem could have been. The owner was pleasant enough to communicate with, and so hopefully just the communication will help so that the problem is taken care of. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and it was really close to the freeway and so that made our travels easy.
