Håller inte måttet
Kändes gammalt, slitet. Super varmt på rummet och det gick inte att reglera själv, som tur var så hade jag med en egen fläkt. Hårda sängar, ganska ok kuddar. Lyhört och trafik/gående (lätt) precis utanför fönstret. Tyvärr underkänt. Väljer ett annat hotell i framtiden!

Midvintervistelse
Kom vid 19. Såg ingen annan på hotellet under hela vistelsen. Receptionen svarade snabbt i telefonen.
Poolen syntes inte till, fast jag letade.
Ingen frukost serverades, den fick vi gå till infartsmacken och äta.
Tyst och lugnt och mitt i stan, trevligt läge.

Lever inte upp till de fina namnet ”strandhotellet
Tyvärr ett hotell som inte levde upp till förväntningarna.
Sängen var en resårbotten med bäddmadrass på.
Tyvärr ingen mysig hotellkänsla.
Här är några av problemen jag upplevde:
• Duschdraperiet var smutsigt, och det kändes ofräscht att ha ett draperi på ett hotell.
• Löst hängande skarvsladdar.
• Kalkavlagringar på en avskiljevägg i duschen.
• Ett dammigt nät hängde från taket i badrummet.
• Smuts, hår och damm på golvet vid toaletten.
• Ingen duschtvål eller schampo på rummet, man var tvungen att säga till i receptionen.
• Frukosten saknade hotellkänsla, med ett litet utbud som endast bestod av kallskuret, inget varmt. Det fanns utskrivna, laminerade skyltar med regler och anvisningar överallt.
• Rummen var lyhörda.
• Vid utcheckning fick jag inte frågan om hur min vistelse var, trots att jag gav feedback om städningen.
Hotellet verkar mer leva på sitt namn, “Strandhotellet”, än på själva upplevelsen.
Sammanfattningsvis kändes det mer som ett vandrarhem, vilket var tråkigt med tanke på kostnaden.

Sämsta rummet, högsta priset.
Mycket slitet och trångt hotell. Ingen hiss och svår trappa upp till ett pyttelitet rum med en dörr som var 60 cm bred. Kablar dragna kors och tvärs och allmänt shaskigt.

Skulle tjäna på att piffas upp lite
Obemannad reception men incheckning och utcheckning fungerade smidigt ändå. Vi hade ett rum med fåtöljer och utsikt mot havet så det var trevligt men hotellet är gammalt och i behov av renovering. Det tog flera minuter innan det slutligen kom varmvatten. Frukosten var acceptabel men de uppvärmda frallorna var kalla i mitten, utbudet av frukostalternativ var begränsat och det fanns endast laktosfri yoghurt. Frukosten serveras mellan kl 8-9 på söndagar vilket kändes lite stressigt. Fördelen är så klart läget, vilket är svårslaget.
