Rather cold welcome. Room okay, nothing more. No bottled water or tea tray. Small bathroom. Be careful, 140cm bed is really tight when you are a couple of 1m80 each. Soundproofing non-existent (bring earplugs). Breakfast not very varied but good quality. Proximity to the village center appreciated.

This was the only B&B we stayed at in Ireland that was a disappointment. Eight hotels had a room that I didn't have to climb stairs. Crossriver said they didn't get that message. The room was small and minimalistic - no extras. The bathroom facilities weren't appealing either. Our other B&Bs offered a full breakfast at Crossriver we were told we could have either a pancake, a piece of bacon or a waffle, but not all three.

This B and B is one of the best I've stayed in. Clean, comfortable and friendly, it is also just a 5 min walk from the centre of the village. Plenty of parking as well, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were only passing through for one night at Crossriver Bed & Breakfast. The accommodation is very clean and cosy. Nothing is missing. The host Theresa is a very nice person, she takes good care of her guests. She gave us very good tips where to go out to eat. I can highly recommend this wonderful house and would come back again anytime.
