Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport

False Advertising! I picked this hotel for the Bar and Hot Tub... The Hot Tub was out of service (the pool looked disgusting and SMALL) and the bar wasn't open on Saturday evening at 8pm...

Cozy stay Stay was good, as expected.

Make sure you have a car. Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Cons: No where near the airport. If you don't have a car, then you are stuck with what the hotel offers. The whirlpool closed for maintenance INDEFINITELY. The "heated" pool (what the website says) was NOT heated. The room was cold. Nothing could be done to warm it up on this very rainy day (TS Debby was coming). The "Restaurant" (what it was called on website), "Bistro" (what it is called locally) was disappointing. The staff did the best they could being only ONE single person. However, the food was mediocre at best and EXTREMELY overpriced. I get it, one person can only serve so many people, so quickly & have it turn out tasty. IT WAS NOT THE STAFF's FAULT. It is how corporate portrayed it & then staffed it.

Last time here So we almost always stay here when we are in the area…consistent clean all that you want. Well no more. Up front let ‘em say the staff are fine….this is strictly an issue with infrastructure. Started with someone being added to my portfolio the night before which made it look like we had checked in early. 20 minutes later the staff person said I’ll fix it another way. Gave us our room keys (we booked a suite since the hubz had some work that needed to be done. Get up to the room and find that the deadbolt was broken…as were the rooms on either side! Got that straight and into the room which is like. SAUNA! And the heat was off. Got someone up and he proceeded to hook up an A/C unit by opening the window, jury rigged a vent and turned it on. So we either had sauna or fridge…had to get up various times in the night to turn things on and off. The room was never cleaned while we were there. And I’m just not the kind of person to put trash in the hallway. The toilet was missing bolts and wobbled when you sat on it (that was fun at 3am!), the seal in the shower came off (water all over) and the laminate on the bathroom door fell off. So we won’t be going back there again and I’d highly recommend that corporate invest some serious money in infrastructure upgrades

Never again well stay in an Air B&B Only made service Once in three days, Its nuts to spend over $200 + a night and no maid service so reuse your towels and no in room coffee refilled until the maid came, we were busy visiting family and it was a holiday came back with food and no microwave in room to reheat your food, very disappointing stay!
