Phoenix VI by Brett Robinson Vacations

Fantastic Gulf location!!! The condo we rented was a 2/2 and had a gulf view, as I understand all condos there do. The security team into the building is very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is lit well and although at times the lot is busy, there was always a parking space open. Nice tennis courts. We did not utilize the racquetball ball court or sauna, we’re not much of planners in aspects for those amenities so we passed having to reserve a time to utilize them. The heated indoor pool is nice as well as the hot tubs, both clean. The outdoor pool is large. We appreciated the many beach hoses on the walkway to accumulate many families who wanted to rinse off their feet and/or beach gear. Phoenix VI has a large span of powder white beach space. We did not utilize the rental service for chairs, umbrellas, etc as we packed our own. We also brought sand toys, boogie board and volleyball although there is a few souvenir shops close by to purchase these from. A car or willingness to Uber to get around is helpful in Orange Beach unlike other beach destinations, no matter where you stay. There are 4 elevators, we did experience a longer than acceptable wait one sunny afternoon where there was a lot of activity at the condo resort. Parking is steep, too expensive at $55 for the length of your stay, this is paid to the main buildings management company regardless of whose condo you rent. The front desk staff is polite and I enjoyed a friendly, brief convo with the maintenance personnel while out at the outdoor pool one afternoon. I would recommend the building itself, each unit however may have a different owner/rental management company and there may be where each cleanliness factor/amenities varies.

We were owners in this complex for 5 years, so we know some of the staff, who are friendly and hard workers (that's why we came back, as guests). Unit 602 is a 1 BR, 1BA on the beach. Sadly, it was not well-maintained (unpainted patched walls), did not have a Keurig coffee maker, and when the dishwasher failed on the second day, we were told it would be replaced before we left after 7 days. That never happened. So, we ended up washing all the dishes by hand. At $300/nt. I was hoping for a more relaxing vacation, and some kind of rebate.
