DO NOT STAY HERE! We checked in, headed up to our room and imidiatly hit with a mildew smell, unclean room (no vacuuming had been done and there was popcorn crumbs and such all over the carpet and tile) I disregard and begin cleaning (I do this at all hotels) I Lysol everything and disenfect everything. We leave for dinner and since front desk was busy I called after we arrived to eat and asked that the room be vacuumed either while we where gone or the very next day they said we can move your rooms to a cleaner one.. (this wont work as I already disenfected and used all the products i brought to clean the first room) I then went back that evening and we got in the shower to clean up... The shower WONT DRAIN *(DISGUSTING) we tried to use the phone in the room to call to see if maintenance can come fix it... THE PHONE DOESNT WORK!! Turns out its just for decor as they did carpets in ajoining rooms (FOR SURE NOT THIS ROOM) and they cut all the wires... ok so my husband goes down to talk to them. They offer switching rooms/or a 30% refund on that night and that maintenance and housekeeping will be in our room ( WHILE WE ARE GONE) the next day.... This made me very uncomfrotable. We ended up laying down for the night frustrated and defeated...then came the overwhelming smell of mildew which we can only assume came from the mattress... This WS THE FINAL STRAW! We called again via cell phone and She said if you check out now we will fully refund you. This is what we ended up doing at TEN PM!!!! After scrambling to find a new hotel. Things to note: -Carpet in room smelled of mildew and had large orange stains -Tile and carpet had not been vacuumed -Couch and chair had large stains -Side tables next to bed had crumbs and spilled food -Hot tub was full of foam and slimy dirt (could see it from afar) -Ice machine was caked in a weird slime (refused to use) -Hallways smelled and all the tile floors/wood floors in common areas where FILTHY! -The one elevator that works is filthy and smells horrible. -The glass in the elevator is coated in finger prints/food and grime. -No proper Disabled entry (we do not need this but the entire entry is raise so somthing to note) While the front desk staff was kind and tried their best this hotel is too run down and a simple change of room was not going to help the lack of cleanliness in the rooms and common spaces. I wish I had taken photos... But please take this review seriously. This hotel is not worth your time.
