Gem Park Ooty

Our stay at Hotel Gem Park Ooty was fantastic! The hotel offers breathtaking hill views, spacious and well-maintained rooms, and a delicious breakfast with a variety of options. The gym with a spectacular view made workouts enjoyable, and the kids’ play area kept our little ones entertained. The staff was courteous and attentive, enhancing our experience. Whether for relaxation or adventure, this hotel is a perfect choice. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

It was a pleasure staying here in gem park. All services (including stay, food, etc.) were really good. A place with very less disturbance though is was very close to the city. Complimentary breakfast was too good. Good Hospitality. There is also a paid spa available

The room was very clean and the service is very very good. I love view of the location is fantastic. I am giving a five star rating. The food here is very fantastic and I love it and we will come back to stay and noticed fantastic place to view and this hotel is fantastic

The view , the food , the service was really awesome. We enjoyed our stay here . We wish to come back soon. Both the restaurants served delicious food. The front desk was available 24 hours . They assisted every query and helped us to plan our trip..

We went there for dinner in one of their Chinese restaurants. The hotel is really clean and well maintained with a huge lobby area and courteous staff. The location is also very good, slightly away from the city, so quiet and surrounded by nice views.😊

This place is run by Big Brother. There is an illusion of providing everything however everything is capped. We checked in late after delay of our flight from Guwahati. The reception list was more concerned about our water bottles we had then checking us in. He proceeded to google about how plastic bottles are banned in Nilggiri. There is nothing about this on the Agoda website while booking. As usual garbage lines the street anyway.Later I saw some plastic bottles sitting on the steps which was very hypocritical. Our room was accessed by going around the restaurant and up the stairs case. The room was spacious and clean however the bathroom smelt like cigarette smoke. We had booked a deluxe room with mountain views. However in the morning we saw a hill in front of us and potrusion of construction site next to window. Cement dust coated our window of the living space which dampened my spirit. Garden below was of a work site. The carpet in the lounge space in the room was dirty and stained as if it has never beeen vacuumed. Housekeeping was good and on request was able to clean and eliminate the cigarette smell. Bed was made with old tired linen but clean. Bathroom has all ammenities required by travellers. Breakfast was good for local travellers with lots of variety however continental was limited to cereals, eggs, sausages and old shriveled baked items. Expresso was also available with no extra charge. Food was too expensive, rs 1499 per head and knowing the bland breakfast offered we didn’t even try eating at the restaurant. This hotel is secluded from the town area so good local restaurants are accessed using taxi services at the property. This hotel is quite busy with the local travellers bus accessing the property hence people come in and check in at night with noise going on late at night. There is air conditioning panel in the room however it is centrally controlled and there is nothing guests can do. Wifi as they say on website is available however we found that too is dodgy because it timed out. I found that this place may look good however it’s not exactly what it promises. It’s a 3 star regular hotel which gives an illusion of grandeur but is far removed. After staying in Shanker Palatial this place is pale in comparison. Too expensive for nothing special it provides. Reception is too busy and can’t communicate in English or Hindi so calling and talking to them is a task and many times they have just hung the phone. Dissapoing experience at the hotel. However Ooty has lot to offer for sightseeing so this hotel provided Scrooge like service at an exorbitant price.
