We were made to feel extremely unwelcome on arrival by a very rude receptionist. I had written in advance to say we would be arriving late, but before 22:00. I was assured this would be fine and that the reception would remain open until 22:00. We arrived at 21:00 and we're told we were lucky to be let in as he was about to go home. We had travelled for 15 hours and were very thirsty. I asked if there were was anywhere to get a drink and was told, "no, there is nothing". I asked if there was anywhere close by and was told, "it is a very small place, you can take a look around if you like, but there is nothing". There is no means at all of obtaining drinking water other than from the bathroom tap. The room was chilly with an inadequate duvet. Inadequate and disappointing. We most definitely will not be returning.

I am very disappointed in the service at the Fletcher Hotels. To make a very long story short: We made a booking via a bongo voucher, left on holiday, arrived at our hotel at 10 am and were told that the hotel was completely full. While we had simply made a booking. I had all the evidence of it with me. But the gentleman at the counter didn't even want to look at this. They also did not join in the search for a solution. There we were, at 10 p.m. at night, just standing on the street. We wanted to call around in the lobby to find a solution, but we were just thrown out there too. Could we please leave the hotel... We then drove 1.5 hours back home. I have emailed for this. The staff member was spoken to and we received compensation. I have been working on this compensation for several weeks now and it now appears that we are not receiving what we were promised as compensation at all. They tell us that there are many blisters. I feel very unfairly treated and will therefore never book anything with Fletcher again.

The room is spacious and clean, but it needs: 1- a minibar or fridge. 2- Kettle and/or coffee machine. 3- Water bottles. Overall, it was a very good experience taking in consideration the room rate which is very good value compared to other hotels in the area.

Helaas een zeer matige ervaring met dit hotel. Bij aankomst werd er al meteen gezegt dat we daar niet meer konden eten ivm personeelsgebrek. De kamer was bloedheet. Er was geen koelkastje aanwezig. En douche putje was verstopt. Kamerdeur open gedaan. Echter deel je het balkon met je onbekende buren. Hier waren wij niet van te voren van op de hoogte. En voelt toch wat onprettig wat betreft de privacy. De 2de nacht hadden we ook nog eens hele luidruchtige buren. Die kwamen heel laat aan. Gingen roken en praten op het balkon. En rond 6u waren ze ook alweer actief. Dit vertelde ik bij het uitchecken. Was het antwoord dan moet je even om een andere kamer vragen. Vanaf 22uur zat er niemand meer bij de receptie. En deze gasten kwamen pas na 23u op de kamer. Het ontbijt was prima. De omgeving was prachtig. Maar voor ons niet meer dit hotel.

Prima locatie om te overnachten als je de "Walk of Wisdom" loopt. Het ligt ongeveer op de route in een mooie omgeving. Ze noemen zich een vier sterren hotel maar zijn het niet. Personeelsgebrek maakt dat bijvoorbeeld de receptie beperkt bemenst is.

Nice hotel, located just 10' outside of Nijmegen. We stayed there for 1 night while enjoying a concert in Nijmegen. It's nice to stay a bit outside of the busy city. Prices were more than half of the prices in Nijmegen. So don't expect the same quality or experience. Room was clean and all you need for 1 night. Breakfast was served in buffet style and was plenty for us. Located close to the German border it also offers some amazing walking close to the river 'Waal.

Kleine maar schone kamer met een zeer klein balkon met uitzicht op de parkeerplaats. Veel geluidsoverlast door dichtslaande deuren. Kamers konden in de zomer wel eens zeer warm worden. Eten was niet slecht en het personeel vriendelijk. In de omgeving zijn er mogelijkheden om te wandelen of fietsen.

Kamer was bijzonder gehorig. Tot laat in de avond kunnen luisteren naar doorspoelende toiletten, weglopend bad-/douchewater, alle gasten de trap op en af horen lopen, schuivende meubels en nog veel meer ondefinieerbare geluiden. Vroeg in de ochtend wakker gemaakt met dezelfde geluiden plus een receptioniste die met houten hakken door het supergehorige hotel liep. Leek wel een timmermanswerkplaats. Natuurlijk geklaagd en een andere kamer geeist. Helaas kregen wij geen andere kamer. Wij hebben ons bezoek voortijdig beëindigd. Thuis klacht ingediend. Diverse keren over en weer gemaild. Geen moment zicht op een serieuze oplossing gehad. Nooit het gevoel gehad dat onze klacht serieus werd genomen. Direct onze reservering in maart geannuleerd. Voor ons nooit meer Fletcher.
