Onley Inn

stayed one night. checked out by 8 am. didn’t eat in the room. only came there to sleep and took a shower before leaving. i was charged 61 for damages. called to find the damages. they told me TWO TOWELS AND A WASHCLOTH.. for one that is no damage. it was lip oil that can be removed with regular laundry detergent. And for two i can replace those towels times 10 times for the price they are charging for 3 of them.

I stayed at Onley Inn while spending a couple days doing outdoor work in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite being an older hotel, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower functioned admirably (which is not always the case in older establishments).

We enjoyed our visit. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. Our room was very neat and clean. The AC in the room was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

The staff was nice and the rooms were clean. It's close to food and shopping and the rates are very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I were heading to the Outer Banks for a few days. We decided to stay at Onley Inn overnight to break up the trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was quiet also. The pool wasn't open, but that didn't bother us. The only complaint was that the mattress in our room was shot. It was decent room for the price.

Careful with this place. I stayed one night and it's a low-level motel. I should have known something was up when the clerk over-explained the $100 deposit required. A week later I was charged an additional $63 on top of the $100 deposit I didn't get back. When I called to enquire why, I was told it was because I dirtied a facecloth. That was it. A thin, old face cloth. I didn't receive a phone call or any communication, just a total charge of $163.00. The smell of disinfectant overpowering the stench in the room and the room condition was not worth the $93/night. Stay clear. It's a problem and a shakedown waiting to happen. Don't get trapped. I would give zero stars if I could.
