Le Ryokan Ito est un petit établissement non loin de la gare d’Omachi. Il est facile et pratique à rejoindre et constitue un très bon point de chute avant ou après une traversée de la Tateyama Kurobe.
Les chambres sont très jolies, de style japonais, et sont propres. Le responsable est très gentil et serviable.
L’établissement est bien équipé mais a souffert du temps, peut être d’occupants peu révérencieux également et laisse du coup un sentiment, esthétiquement, de négligé. Les couloirs semblent usés, les toilettes et les bains ne semblent pas recevoir l’entretien adéquat que ces pièces requièrent (moisissures, zones poisseuses, catelles cassées ) et c’est fort dommage. Je suis convaincu qu’avec un peu d’effort, ce ryokan pourrait vraiment faire merveille mais demande en amont un bon gros coup de neuf.

Relatively cheap option, toilets are clean. Shinano Omachi Station is 1.2 km away. The distance can be reached by walking. Perfect for us backpackers.

Nice place for one night stay before going the alpen route, close to the nearest convenient store from the station(i.e. the closest one is 10min away from station XD) the staff is very nice, has warm water in toilet and washing area. The room has a kettle of hot water, tower, tooth brush set, and anything you need for a night, surprised that the kettle is still keeping the water hot drinking water after a whole night and I don't need to get the water again in the morning. sorry that the photo was taken in late night and may look a bit dark, it's better than it looks
