Orka Village Hisarönü

I had such an amazing stay at this hotel! The highlight for me was definitely the pool area. The pool itself was sparkling clean, with plenty of comfortable loungers and shaded spots. What really stood out, though, was the pool bar. The pool staff were friendly shout out Elif,Kenny & Selo great customer service. I loved being able to relax by the pool with a drink in hand—it gave the whole place a real resort vibe. The menu had a nice variety of drinks and snacks, and everything was fresh and well-presented. The atmosphere around the pool bar was lively but never overcrowded, making it the perfect spot to unwind in the afternoons and evenings. Overall, the pool bar made the stay feel extra special—I’d definitely come back just for that experience!

We had such a brilliant holiday at Orka Village and would happily return. The pool area is always clean, inviting, and a great place to spend the day. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and regularly refreshed by the housekeeping team, which made our stay even more relaxing. The food was varied and tasty, with a mix of local dishes and international options, so there was something for everyone. What really made the trip stand out, though, was the entertainment team. Ramazan, Sema and DJ. Charlie the entertainment manager is great too he's not behind the scenes like some he is involved with them. They were full of energy and kept everyone smiling. The water games during the day were so much fun perfect for cooling off in the heat and a great laugh for all ages. And the Saturday night pool party was the absolute highlight. With the music, lights, and buzzing atmosphere, it was a night we won’t forget it really is a must if you’re staying here. Overall, Orka Village offers the best of both worlds: somewhere peaceful and comfortable to relax, but with lively entertainment that makes the holiday unforgettable. Highly recommend it for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy both fun and relaxation on their trip. You make memories and friends and in true Charlie Style "Chow Chow"

If you’re after a quiet, zen-like retreat… this isn’t the place. The hotel loves its music, so imagine a club soundtrack on repeat all day, every day. The morning and evening has gentle guitar style covers which was easier listening. By day its great if you like a poolside rave, less so if you’re after an afternoon snooze. The pool bar runs a tab system. Handy, but do keep an eye on your bill because prices can feel a little steep and dont really make sense. For example, some kids’ meals are actually pricier than the adults meals. Our 'family room' was advertised as suitable for four… unless you’re a family of sardines, I’d say it’s a stretch. One double, one single, and a chair bed with a thin camp style mattress. Sheets and pillows had seen better days too. The bathroom was also not as fresh as we’d like so I did a quick DIY wipe down before my wife spotted it. Mirror included. As for space, the room’s fine for two, maybe three if you’re close, but we found ourselves constantly doing the 'excuse me shuffle' just to get across the room. The pools themselves are lively and busy, with just the odd peaceful moment in the mornings. If you don’t like smoke, brace yourself. The no smoking rule around the pool is more of a suggestion than a law. Couples chainin' it constantly at the poolside. The rule might be just for whilst in the pool so I'm not sure on that one. All I know is that smoking is all the rage and if you're non smokers its a bit much. Food wise, the buffet was decent but predictable. After a week you’ll know the routine. Same red sausages and everything is covered in cheese. Even for breakfast. Fellow guests seemed to fear the food might run out, which made queuing a full-contact sport. I half-expected someone to sprint past me for the last bit of sautéed veg. Now, the staff are honestly the best part. Always smiling, always trying to help, even if English is sometimes limited. Special shoutout to the hotel photographer who went out of his way to make families (especially kids) feel welcome and the staff who burst out laughing when I offered to pay my bill in hugs. We booked a boat trip through TUI who use Focus Tours. The trip itself? Great. The transfer? Not so great. The first driver was fine, though the “Mercedes Sprinter with no roof” had us wondering if we’d signed up for Top Gear - Turkish Edition. The return journey, however, was a different driver and very much a different story. He somehow managed to drive half the way with the handbrake on, then rolled us backwards into traffic as the bus broke down and because the brakes had overheated, wouldnt hold us on the hill. He managed to start it back up before coaxing the bus up hills in first gear at 5mph. I’ve still got imprints of the seat in my backside. Funny now, terrifying at the time. Final thoughts: Rooms: advertised as big family rooms but really not. ⭐ Service: the staff save this place. Always friendly, helpful, and smiling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location: handy for Hisarönü’s

⸻ “We had a wonderful stay at Orka Village in Hisarönü! The breakfast, while slightly repetitive, still offered plenty of choice for everyone. The BBQ and Turkish Night are an absolute must — make sure to book in on those nights as the food is amazing! If you’re thinking of upgrading, do it when you get to the hotel and save some pennies. The staff were absolutely outstanding in every area, always going the extra mile to make sure guests have a truly special holiday. A huge thank you to the entertainment team, Sema and Ramsey, who went above and beyond to ensure our boys had the best time — the hotel is lucky to have such a fantastic team behind them. I would definitely recommend this hotel for family holidays. There’s plenty to do and see in the area, and we’ve left with such lovely memories. We can’t wait to return!”

Been going to this hotel since 2014 when it was Liberty.Me and my family stayed July 29th -5th August.The hotel was lovely and the staff too.Big shout out to Burak who we would like to thank for sorting our room allocation out and put us in block 500.Burak is a credit to this hotel and his customer service is excellent.Also thankyou to Omer,Sertac,Sinan,Ramazan from the restaurant.The food from the pool bar was lovely and decent size portions,all the staff from the pool bar were friendly apart from one older woman with dark hair in a ponytail,she sometimes worked on the till or ice cream station,she could be quite rude.Kenny from the pool bar was brilliant and very friendly,he took the time to come and talk to you.The staff on the reception desk were very attentive and friendly too especially the young boy called Deniz ,the young boy and young girl.Thankyou Orka village.We already have our next years holiday booked for 19th August and hopefully will get block 500 again.Thankyou Donna.

The entertainment team were a massive part of our holiday with all of my family getting close to them. A massive shout out to Sema and Ramsey for so much fun over our two weeks. We loved it. D,N,C. x
