Oludeniz Turquoise Hotel - All Inclusive

The hotel we stayed in was Turquoise hotel in Turkey. It was about 10 minute from the beach and 5 minutes from the main shops. One thing we would highly recommend in the hotel is the Thai massages as the worker was amazing, the main person who sold it to us was called Adam. Also the lady's that gave us the massage was world class. It worked out 8500 lira which is about £150 for all 3 of us for an hour but you would pay more in the UK for this. Alltogether the people are nice, food is lovely. We would 100% go again.

We are here at the moment. First time to Turkey just me and my little boy - was very nervous at first but this has been our absolute favourite holiday ever. The pool is fantastic - very clean and a good size. Have to get up at 630-7am to reserve a sunbed right next to the pool which i need as I need to be able to see my son on the pool as he spends all day in there The first say we woke up too late and had to go on the grass area - which to me is a nicer area where the sunbeds aren't as cramped together but unfortunately I need to be right at the pool. The staff are amazing, everyone is so helpful and friendly. The pancakes at breakfast are delicious. The cheese Pittas are lovely at lunch. We ate out most nights as me and my son are very fussy. My son enjoyed the burger at the burger bar but I tried a pizza and it wasn't very nice. I requested a low floor, pool view and thats exactly what we got. Room 513 is a fantastic room Lots of space, very modern and absolutely spotless. The shop on site is great too, reasonable prices and friendly staff. On arrival we were given sandwiches and the lovely man at reception took our cases to the room for us then realising id forgotten the sandwiches, he brought them to us. Amazing staff. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Good Points: Good Aircon in room Tasty Food Friendly hard working staff Nice sized pool Good Location Pretty Scenery Animation team do a good job Relatively close to a gorgeous beach, the cable car up Mount Babadag and numerous boat tours with amazing swimming stops and shops. Bad Points: Even though booked a whole year ago and even though I sent an exceptionally lovely email in good time asking for a high room overlooking the pool, my son and I, both big lads, were given a room that could hardly have been further from the pool, with views looking over the restaurant roof, which had diners at meal times just under our balcony, possibly the smallest balcony in the history of tiny balconies. You could see the pool in the distance on the left if you leant out. Extremely disappointed considering I’d received an email reply telling me that they would ‘do their best to accommodate my request’ and especially considering I’d booked a year previously. It felt like a punishment for daring to ask for a room overlooking the pool? No, I didn’t complain, I’d already put an email request in writing and been shown what the best they could do was already. I have to say that I’ve also never stayed in a hotel with a smaller bathroom, it was literally hobbit sized, to sit on the toilet you slotted in between the wall and the shower, most times knocking the phone off the wall with your arm, why is there a phone at the toilet, is it for if you run out of toilet roll, there isn’t room for it in any case, there was also a sign on the wall saying don’t put toilet paper down the toilet and to put it in the bin, excuse me? I thought this was something that stopped a decade ago, either way if I need number twos I’d rather have a shower than put poop soiled toilet paper in the bin of a small box sized room. The TV in the room was also tiny, it had Sky News and BBC News, but BBC News was just a locked screen, with the amount of British guests handing over good money, surely they deserve more than one working chanel? Very rare to find a pool sunbed at peak times without a towel on it, not a person, just a towel, I can honestly say that recently every day there has been a bed with a Galatasaray towel on it, never the supporter, just the towel, like many more but that one stood out and I’d bet it will be on another uninhabited bed tomorrow and everyday until they leave and no one will do anything about it, I’d heard that if people get up and take ownership of sun beds that they had to use them, or the towels would be removed, not that I saw. There were usually beds on the grassed area. The local drivers just do really dangerous and ignorant things, it really is free for all. Having said that, there were lots of repeat customers who were very happy and who will no doubt return, I’d advise them not to ask for a high room overlooking the pool. For me, I’ll go somewhere else in future.

We are last day today and it's second time here. Restaurant was updated with more choices. Room was nice and clean. Animations team was working hard. We will be back. Thank you so much .
