Marcan Beach Hotel- All Inclusive

Nice looking hotel and had a nice comfortable double room but it lets itself down in a few areas which is a shame. Had to request towels for room to be changed, food was okay but very repetitive, constant loud music around the pool area and I found that Garfield bloke rather annoying. Maybe I’m just getting old and fussy in my old age. I won’t return to this hotel but love the area but the hotel is only 10 mins from beach.

There are mixed reviews for this hotel. I think this depends upon which part of the hotel you stay. We were in the ground floor apartments, which were in need of an update and a good clean. Flaking paint, mouldy bathroom, dirty bed linen and a broken window. Cold shower in the morning, as no hot water. Beds not changed and fresh towels sporadically. A door that opened out on to a corridor used as a storage area. One evening our room was full off the stench of cigarette smoke. Pool area was ok, but one concern is the danger of drinking glasses and glass bottles by the pool. Nobody cleaned up when smashed. A few broken sunbeds. Breakfast was an experience! Ok if you like cold baked beans, cold scrambled eggs, chips, cheese pie, orange coloured water (I think it was supposed to be juice) coffee/drinks machine that broke everyday and a toaster that takes forever to toast or should I say burn anything. However, there was fruit, cheese, cakes, pastries and cereals available. If you have a food intolerance, then you will struggle. As someone with a dairy intolerance I found it difficult. When I asked if any dairy free options, I was told to go to the supermarket! Overall, I wouldn't stay at this hotel or Oludeniz again. It's a very busy and noisy area, litter everywhere and you're constantly harassed by shop, restaurant and bar staff. If you want a more lively area and to spend your day and night drinking then it's your place.

All the staff are lovely and friendly. The hotel and rooms are well looked after and the team are always on the go making sure you are happy. It is close to some delicious restaurants, shops and a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

A bit of a mixed review after staying at Marcan Beach. But overall a nice stay! Positives: the hotel is nice and kept clean, pool is lovely with enough sunbeds to go around. Breakfast is nice but picky eaters could struggle. Staff did sort out issues at the earliest opportunity. Basic room but rooms and bathroom are spacious. We loved the location the most as right off of the main *****, so easy to get to everything. Aircon worked great. Place to leave your luggage after checkout. Negatives: we had reoccurring problems with hot water, had to go to reception to mention this three times but each time this was sorted by at least the evening. On arrival at 1:30am the bed sheet was small and did not fit over the top of us both, thought this might be a decorative blanket as it was rough and not nice to cover yourself with. We were provided with another bigger sheet straight away in the morning (however still the same rough material). The drain in the shower would take ages to drain so by the end of shower, water would have filled to nearly the top of the door frame. Cleaning was not so consistent, everyday bed was made and bin clean but not towels. One time the cleaner left the balcony door wide open so other guests could see into our room with handbags and belongings on show (we were near outdoor steps to the other rooms)
