Hisar Holiday Club

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we come every year to Hisar Holiday Club and love it! Staff are great and so welcoming. Perfect for all the family. Muhammad on reception desk is so helpful and friendly and Sajima the housekeeper is wonderful we look forward to seeing her every year she goes above and beyond to make our holiday extra special. Highly recommend.

I was here in July with our friends and what happened was horrendous!....my friends were robbed of a large amount of money on there first morning. My husband and I witnessed what happened after our friends were robbed. The callous,unsympathetic treatment they received from THE BOSS and his wife was deplorable. The maids, barstaff and waiters were all lovely as were the locals in other shops ect, cameras should be covering guests room doors, which they said there was?...not such a thing. They even had the audacity to charge my friend who was robbed for a small water?....terrible, just be careful anyone going to this hotel as they entered my friends room with a KEY?......be very careful hotelsaid this never happened before, but infact same thing happened in 2024. Absolutely gutted to be writing this review regarding the Hisar. We have been staying here for the last twelve years and always had the best time! We loved this hotel! However this year not long after arriving someone ( with a key ) entered our room and stole all our holiday money! The way we were treated was awful, while waiting on the police to arrive I needed water as I was hyperventilating and felt sick! I was actually charged for the bottle of water which I couldn’t believe. They’ll say they checked all the security cameras and no one entered our room, but there is in fact NO cameras that record any room doors only the bar area and a few steps to the rooms! ( obviously) they asked why we had so much cash, which I proved re email we had which was none of their business. We cant even claim holiday insurance as we are only covered for up to £200 in cash with £100 excess. We had to use a credit card to get by and are now waiting for the dreaded bill to arrive. Such a shame as the bar staff pool guy waiters & cleaners are all such lovely people. We had more offers of help from hotel guests local shops and friends but no help whatsoever from the hotel! We also just found out that this in fact also happened to another family same time last year!!! ( hotel said it’s never happened before ) well it has. At the end of the day you’re only a number and not a friend! Advice from us DO NOT leave reception without a safe key EVER !!! We will never stay in this hotel again.

Back from a fantastic week at the Hisar and no complaints from us. Arrived and our needs were met by the team with no issues. Bags helped to the rooms and ready to start a week of relaxation. One of our rooms was in the block next to Eski bar so could have some loud noise, but as we never went to bed early it wasn’t an issue for us. We enjoyed laughing at the bar across the road from the balcony. The other room was at the opposite end of the pool, great location too. Rooms were always clean with fresh towels and bins emptied almost daily. Breakfast was basic but that suited us - scrambled eggs on toast, mushrooms on toast, beans on toast, oats and yogurt, fruits, cheeses. Always something a little different each day. Pool itself was great, as a fan of the shade I’d soon worked out where I wanted to lie. The other sun worshippers also were happy. We ate lunch at the hotel most days and dinner twice - the steak was cooked exactly how we like it and was an excellent size for the price paid. Salads were huge and pasta tasty. Cocktails by the pool in the afternoon were delicious. Eski bar was great fun - pool table to keep you entertained whilst waiting to meet others and great service and cocktails. Turkish bath in the spa below was relaxing and the staff so friendly. Not one complaint from us for this trip - thank you Hisar Holiday Club. We first came 20 years ago and will be back again soon.

This was my 2nd visit in 4weeks to the Hisar home from home. All the staff from maids, pool, bar and management are so friendly and caring. As a solo traveler I feel safe and welcomed. I've been staying at the Hisar appx 9yrs now at least twice a year and definitely recommend.
