Excellent breakfast, spacious room for family of 4. Alex, host and wife were great. Came to receive use few blocks out at 11:30 nighttime due to road construction. Showed short cut to train station. Views from top floor are amazing.

Location is good - a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ollantaytambo and the archeological site. Worth getting a tuk tuk from the train station if you have heavy / roller bags. Room and bathroom was very clean, bed was comfortable. Shower was ok - hot water was a little hit and miss but manageable. Breakfast was a highlight for me - toast and cereal available but then they also brought out orange juice, fresh bread, cheese, ham, fresh avocado from the garden and scrambled eggs - all delicious.

We had an excellent stay at Tierra Inca. Alex treated us like family and made us feel at home right away. The rooms were good and the view of the mountains from the front yard and the ruins from the backyard made it a spectacular experience. Highly recommended. Breakfast was very good too

A hidden gem that cannot be missed ! Alex found us walking in the direction of the hotel and kindly offered to help, as the streets are not paved, and the dirt road was wet due to the rain earlier. We could not anticipate the paradise we found behind the double wooden doors. A spectacular garden us welcomed us and the check-in process was quick. Alex accompanied us to the room on the second floor and the pictures are exactly as you see them, although the space is bigger. The beds were super comfortable with a small pillow for those of us that need a softer one. The bathroom was impeccable and the linens were fresh and two blankets kept us warm. As we walked out of the room, the garden was spectacular and the breakfast fresh and delicious: local fresh bread, delicious coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and scrambled eggs made for you. The avocado was fresh from the tree in the back and it was a great start for our hike to the archeological site which is 5 minutes away. If you are looking for an oasis to recharge and rest, this is the place to come.

Alex was a fabulous host - from the moment he met us on arrival and helping with local information and arranging early breakfast etc. Tierra Inka is a truly is a special place. Thoroughly recommend. Brilliant location - 5 minute walk from train and town square. Ollytaetambo is a true highlight and Tierra Inka made it particularly wonderful.

We stayed there for 3 nights in April and our stay was perfect. Alex was so helpful. The property was beautiful. It was a 10 min walk from the market and main plaza but we liked being away from all the hustle and bustle.

Alex was welcoming and so helpful. He found us a few blocks away from the hotel and without knowing where we were going, offered to help us and walked us the rest of the way.
The check-in process was quick and he confirmed that in addition to the continental breakfast include, they also offered eggs, yoghourt, granola (for additional tip). The he walked us to our room to ensure it was ready for us. Clean, wide and with plenty of space for four adults, we enjoyed the hot shower at the end of a day of hiking.
The pictures are updated and accurate and even if the hotel is 5 minutes away from the city center, the peace and quiet at night were amazing. The Ollantaytambo archeological site is right in front (5 minutes away).
If you are looking for serenity, this is your place.

The Tierra Inka hotel was super excellent .There was very helpful concierge named Alex.Who helped us have excellent trip for 2days.Their families were friendly and the breakfast was tremendously delicious.I recommend everyone to go to that hotel!

Everything in good condition, nice treatment and recommendations from the staff in reception. Not too close from the train station as for the sound of the trains to bother you, but you can still hear their honking when its passing by the station a little bit.
