Parwa Guest House

Parwa Guest House in Ollantaytambo was a very nice place to stay. they held our luggage for three days as we went to Machu Picchu. They recommended an excellent restaurant in Ollantaytambo town square where we ate after dropping off our luggage. We ate there again when we returned. Parwa Guest House serves a delicious breakfast starting with a very nice fruit bowl. It had a bed and breakfast feel to it. Jorge and his wife are so friendly, and they helped us with other questions we had before our trip started. I would definitely stay here again.

The view is awesome and the place looks really nice. The bed is from heaven, nice warm showers and very nice breakfast. Alse the owner is a really nice person

This is a family run guest house in a perfect location. Our room was at the end of the garden so lovely and quiet. Breakfast was simple but all we needed was available. They cook eggs to order so minimal food wastage which is a good thing. We had some lovely chats with fellow travellers over breakfast. We would recommend a stay here everyone was friendly and helpful.

On the day we arrived (two adults and two kids), our driver accidently drove past the guest house and parked a hundred feet or so away. As we were carrying our luggage to the guest house, Jorge came briskly walking up the street towards us and insisted on carrying the luggage because of the "altitude." As he checked us in, it was clear he had a sense of pride in the guest house and spoke with you, not at you like at a hotel. It felt like you were, well, a guest at his house. My wife and daughter got separated from my son and I that night in town but Jorge helped her out and went the extra mile to resolve the situation. The house is only a couple of minutes walk to the plaza in town, and 5 minutes to the ruins. Our rooms (we had a two-bedroom) had a great view. The only sound you hear at night is the water flowing under the streets in town. Jorge also let us store our luggage after checkout the next day. Our only regret was we didn't have breakfast, as we only stayed one night and had a busy schedule the next day. I did happen to speak to Jorge in the morning and saw that the breakfast area was packed, which I consider a good sign. If I'm every in Ollantaytambo again, I'd book this place again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds and lots of nice pillows which was lacking in all other places we stayed in peru. They treat you like family as soon as you step in the doors. Fantastic hosts and lovely breakfast. The hotel has heat!
