A vista e os quartos são realmente incríveis. Mas a alimentação deixa muito a desejar. Pratos prontos, porções pequenas, sem opções de comida e sem outros restaurantes próximos. Dificuldade para pedir algo extra, poucos funcionários e demora no serviço.

Beautiful view over Ollantaytambo and there’s a short walk on property to a beautiful spot to see the valley and Veronica Mountain (Wayna Willka) which is stunning.
The people are very nice. It’s a lovely spot although quite a hairpin/switchback drive up from town - it’s WAY up on a hill. I’d say that it’s a touch expensive overall.

If you enjoy stargazing, StarDome Lodge is great place to do it! It has a fantastic view of the Sacred Valley during the day and you can see tons of stars at night.
The actual hotel site is about a 10 minute drive from Ollantaytambo. Typically to check in, they pick you up from their office in Ollantaytambo. In our case, they picked us up from the Cusco airport for an additional fee. If you want to visit Ollantaytambo during the day, StarDome offers 1 complimentary roundtrip shuttle into the town every day.
Our room was very clean and included everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The staff were also very responsive and accommodating to any requests we had. The free breakfast each morning was delicious and consisted of 3 western-style courses. The dinner, although pricey by local standards, was an excellent 3 course meal of Peruvian dishes prepared with local organic ingredients.
Overall, StarDome was one of the main highlights of our trip and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful accommodation in the Sacred Valley.

Incredible location and unique view of the city and valley. Virginia and staff did a wonderful job curating our experience. The property came with thoughtful amenities which were all used at some point during our stay. Very peaceful at night and excellent for stargazing. Highly recommend.

The coolest property i have ever stayed. Beautiful panaromic scenery from the room and entire property. The pics of the property on the various websites while beautiful do not do this property justice. The staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable. Virginia and and Carlos were exceptional host. The dinners at the on-site restaurant were prepared with local ingredients and were fabulous. We stayed 2 nights and wish our stay was much longer.

This was an amazing experience. We spent one night and the service was exceptional. We had dinner on site and breakfast. I would totally stay here again, we had a beautiful experience and were able to sleep under the stars.

My experience at Star Dome cannot be adequately put into words. The setting evokes peace and connection to others and to the physical and spiritual worlds. The rooms are unique and cozy with all needed amenities. The staff are highly competent and personable and make you feel like family. The food is absolutely delicious, plentiful, and super fresh, organic and healthy. My husband and I did not want to leave so extended our stay! We will be back ASAP.
