People please read this and take heed. If you have been here before and enjoyed it like we have the previous owners Bruce and Lisa have sold the resort to some new owners who don’t care about honoring reservations made a year ago with Bruce. 3 couples were to arrive in 2 weeks, vacations all taken from work and plans that we have been waiting on all winter coming up. Well the new owners ruined our summer plans and emailed us that our reservations have been canceled and made it sound like we canceled and they pulled the rug right out from under us and said Sorry but you all are canceled so we can make repairs. This is a lie because Bruce and Lisa put all improvements into this place and now a wedding the week after our reservations will be accommodated. So no renovations or repairs are being made. What IS going on here we believe is that they canceled our reservations made a year ago at one price that they didn’t want to honor and instead of telling us that, let’s just cancel them and re rent the rooms at a higher rat. Not sure on this but it does make sense. So please read this before booking and consider looking elsewhere because it’s not the place you remember from before or a place where you would want to try for the first time.

Very disappointed this year for our yearly Branson trip and the new owners of Rock View Resort. We made reservations before leaving there in June of 2021 for this year. Couldn’t have our normal trip during free fishing weekend due to a wedding being booked so we booked the weekend before which was the beginning of June 2022. We have been going there for about 10 years now with 3 other couples. We drive 8 hours to get there. Have had two owners for the 10 years and have never been cancelled on until now! When notified of the sale we were told our reservations would be honored. Without reason we received an email on May 13, 2022 saying they confirmed our cancellation. But we didn’t cancel THEY did without reason! So we call and find out they are doing renovations/repairs! So we are two weeks out from when we are to go and have scramble to find another place. Luckily we have and hope it is a nice place. Not sure who the new owners are but this isn’t good way to start out. I sure hope everyone else that has been cancelled adds their opinion to Rock View Resort Facebook site how they feel about the sudden cancellations being done.

we have been coming to this resort for 10 years, the new owners as of May 2022, cancelled our reservations that were in place since June 2021, we were to arrive in 2 weeks, and they didn't even bother to call us, we got an e-mail. we are now scrambling to find a place to stay for 3 rooms 3 couples on the water. if this is the way the new owners do business, you might want to reconsider so your vacation plans don't get ruined also

My son and I (and our dog) came for a weekend get away and Loved every part of it- from the friendly owners, their adorable mascot, to the room, boat dock and all they have to offer! We'll definitely be back!!

My family and I stayed here twice. During a week, we stayed at several properties and this was the highlight of our week. The property is located besides a lake. The views are peaceful and the beds comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the family suite that gave our little ones plenty of room to spread out. There is a playground in the backyard that was amazing as well. We could sit on the porch, watch children play while enjoying the amazing views. It was very convenient to have a kitchen and dining room included as part of the suite. We also liked their cleaning practices. During this pandemic, it was very convenient to not have to go through a lobby area to get to our rooms. We will stay here again without a shed of doubt.Bonus points: the owners are great family and always seeking to make your stay more comfortable.
