Better than in the pictures!
Beautiful old house right in the middle of the historical colonial sector of Olinda. The free breakfast was varied, abundant, and delicious, and the personnel extremely helpful. They connected us with an excellent tour guide, Heider, who led us around Olinda and Recife.

This place was unique. The location is perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean, the swimming pool area was beautiful and the service was great.

We spent two nights at this place and we absolutely disliked the room. In all fairness, we reserved what was available (an economic room) but we did not expect it to be so bare and basic, with poor natural light and ventilation. Luckily we hardly spent any time in the room and there were two points that were ok - location (if you don’t mind being in the middle of the party) and the breakfast, which had good variety of typical food. The building is an old, colonial period house which has a great appeal on the pictures and is indeed interesting. If you choose to stay in this place, just make sure not to get the economic room and ask details about the accommodation.

I enjoyed my stay here immensely. The hotel has a very nice staff, always eager to help and offer the best service possible. I was sick during part of my stay and the staff was concerned and helped me whenever needed. The rooms are amazing, all scattered around the old, historic house, and we ended up getting one just above the restaurant area. The food was great, amenities were thoughtful and the pool was small but sufficient. My biggest downside was the lack of accessibility to the hotel. Even if you don't have mobility issues, you might find it uncomfortable walking around with heavy of large luggage.

A pousada fica em um antigo casarão lindíssimo! Ficamos em um quarto embaixo da área do terraço e tivemos alguns problemas, primeiro com o chuveiro (assim que notificamos a recepção, foi trocado) e depois de goteira no banheiro (pegamos período chuvoso), que também foi assistido assim que demandamos. O café da manhã achei fraco (comparado a outras experiências em hospedagens na região Nordeste), as moças da cozinha fazem tapioca ou ovo mexido se vc pedir (mas tem que espiar a cozinha para chamar, ninguém veio oferecer as opções). As refeições muito gostosas! Almoçamos e jantamos no hotel alguns dias; vc precisa solicitar as refeições na recepção, os pratos estavam bem gostosos! O horário do restaurante para jantar acaba às 20 h (achamos cedo...). O tanto que o pessoal do restaurante é ruim de atendimento, sobra simpatia nas meninas da recepção! A Érica, de uma gentileza e prestatividade ímpar! Até a carregar minha mala ela ajudou! Uma simpatia! Outro que faço questão de citar é o Lucas, um "faz tudo" sempre disponível, solícito e simpático!
