Niyama Private Islands Maldives

We spent two weeks on Niyama and stayed in a deluxe overwater villa (very highly recommended!!!!!!) And we could have stayed another two weeks... The journey by seaplane is a great sightseeing flight, you are warmly welcomed and immediately given your own thakuru (butler service) who can help you with anything you need. In our case, that was Melissa, thank you again! She welcomed us warmly and immediately after landing took us on buggy tour of the two islands. So right from the start we had a great insight into the many amenities that the islands have to offer. Melissa was able to fulfill all of our questions and requests; from dinner reservations, excursion reservations and other questions and requests. She took care of all of our concerns super quickly and was partly responsible for making our vacation a dream vacation. A very special thank you again to Melissa for organizing our last evening. The restaurants on the islands are fantastic, each one in its own way... The Edge in the middle of the ocean, with the exceptionally good seafood platter, the Nest with the dreamlike experience of enjoying the fantastic food in the treetops, accompanied by birdsong ;-) Barbecue on the beach, Took took evenings with live music and fire and the dinner buffet in a changing restaurant, the selection and quality is breathtakingly good, greetings to the Chef from france! All employees are very hard-working and try to fulfill every wish. Very friendly, attentive, courteous and lovingly looked after without being intrusive. We would also like to recommend the snorkeling tour and, even if you don't know how to surf (you can watch those who can ;-), chilling with a cocktail and casual reggae beats from the great island DJ at the surf shack spot. The resort is very varied! A special thank you to the sommelier Mayank, it was a pleasure for us that you shared your extraordinary knowledge with us and made our stay something special. Not to forget coconut guy Imran, who made the way to the gym easier for us because we were looking forward to the delicious coconut afterwards. He then opened and presented it with entertainment. Thank you all (also the houskeeping Team for keeping our Villa clean and the lovely „towel-animals“) very, very much, dear Niyama Private Island team, we will be back!

We have been coming to Niyama resort for several years now, so it really feels like coming home at this point. One of the many reasons we keep coming back is the resort staff who are wonderful to us every single year. We must say our biggest thanks to our thakurus Imthi and Shanun. They have been so helpful with everything, so kind and understanding, which was greatly appreciated this year especially, as we have brought the grandparents with us for the first time. The heartfelt and caring approach from Imthi and Shanun was so nice. They kept making sure we had everything we needed and thanks to him, we all got the rest we needed. We also want to say how much we appreciate the work from the management team, it is very obvious the way they lead their team is nothing but excellent. You can see how motivated the staff is. Haf and Laurent, we are so thankful!! Thank you again to everyone at Niyama for making our stay in paradise wonderful once again. We can't wait to be back in 2025! Magdalena Vildova

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Niyama Resort, where I stayed for 7 nights, and it was more than perfect. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, always ensuring the best service for the guests. Special thanks to Thakuru Zaid, who was exceptional throughout our stay and was always available to assist with anything we needed. Chef Said and Adham were brilliant in preparing the meals, with a wonderful variety of dishes every day from different cultures, especially Arabic, Latin, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisines. Everything was delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch. As for the house keeping service, it was excellent. kulu and Naeem took great care in cleaning the villa twice a day, and the level of cleanliness was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at this resort!
