We leave tomorrow after 1 week and what an amazing week it has been. Transfer with Jet2 was just over an hour, on arrival we went straight to lunch and then our room was ready. We had a one bedroom apartment with a pool view in block F. Apartment is very spacious, beds comfy, free safe, plenty of wardrobe space but could have done with another couple of drawers. The sunbed situation is the only reason I haven't given 5 stars, to get a bed by the pool you have to reserve before 7am, there are more beds on the grass but most of those were gone by 9 and not many shades. Many people reserve beds and don't use them, the hotel really need to do something about it. The pool is the coldest I have known, even by mid afternoon its still freezing, no inflatables or balls are allowed and the lifeguard is quick to tell you. The food is amazing, you will never go hungry, snack bar also during the day and again at 9.30 in the evening. The restaurant can get busy but to be expected, there is a quiet outside terrace to the front which we only discovered on our last evening. The entertainment team work so hard, always something going on, water polo, bingo, aquagym, archery, the pool party was a big hit and the fun fair themed evening was the best night we had with a bouncy castle, axe throwing, basketball and face painting. The staff are fantastic from the reception team, restaurant, bar staff, housekeeping, they can't do enough and always happy and polite. Overall the hotel is amazing, only reason we wouldn't return is the sunbed situation which is a great shame.

Family of 4, kids age 5 and 7. We are just home after a 5 night stay. Travelled with easyJet holidays, transfer was 35mins. On arrival at 10am we were allowed to check in but our room wasn’t ready until 4pm. We had a one bedroom apartment in block F. Apartment is very spacious, beds comfy. Did have some trouble with ants in the kitchen area tho which wasn’t great. So couldn’t bring any food or drinks back to room. Staff were amazing, very accommodating, friendly and welcoming! We made use of all 3 pools and poolsides were clean and tidy. We were given clean fresh towels each day. However, the sunbed situation is the only reason I haven't given 5 stars. If you wanted a sunbed poolside you had to be down before 7am! Sunbeds higher up on the grass are available later in the morning but don’t have great shade! I witnessed many sunbeds reserved but don’t get used until later in the afternoon. The pool is freezing, it did warm up as the day went on but still cold. No inflatables or balls are allowed. The water slides were great, my kids loved them. We also had a great experience with kids club, my kids went happily each afternoon. My only thought was they had face painting scheduled right before the pool party so my kids were gutted the paint washed off as soon as they got it done. Although the pool party was the highlight of our week. The food is amazing, couldn’t fault the snack bar, lots of choice. The restaurant can get busy, very much canteen vibes but to be expected. Again the staff were amazing, the entertainment during the day and at night was fantastic. The energy put in throughout the day was great. They had a kids disco each night at 8pm but the disco lights were inside and the music entertainment was outside, my kids wanted the music and lights together so I didn’t really understand that. Overall the hotel is amazing but, something needs to be don’t about the sunbed situation, getting up at 6:30am makes a really early start to the day.

This is hands down one of the best hotels we’ve been to. The hotel, as everyone says, is spotlessly clean, the rooms are huge with full size single mattresses for the kids bedding. Ours is on a kind of built in hard seating area but the kids sleep really well on it. The restaurant is really impressive! At times it can feel quite busy but considering how many people it caters for it’s amazing! Fresh fruits, amazing salads, sangria, wine, beer, soft drinks all easily accessible. You are given your own water bottles at start of holiday to refill at the numerous water stations around the hotel. Themed food nights, sushi, Mexican, Portuguese etc. all incredibly fresh and tasty. Cooked meat and fish can be a bit over at times but it’s a buffet restaurant! The breakfast spread is equally fantastic, you can be as healthy or unhealthy as you choose but I’d guarantee there’s something for everyone at each meal time. Kids simpler food well catered too with healthier options like bolognaise on offer. The entertainment schedule - wow they work hard here! Things fit little kids, big kids and adults alike. Usual kind of activities such as aqua Zumba/aerobics, kids clubs, darts, soft archery, table tennis, basketball, water polo for adults and kids over 8. A weekly pool party which is amazing fun! The evening is a good variety, magic (and it’s actually good!), bands, in house entertainment, one evening was like a funfair themed night. The kids absolutely LOVE the daily magic carpet! It’s a genius idea which basically has the kids walking (well running) on water! Really simple but so fun! Whoever thought it up deserves a raise! Reception are amazing! Lifeguard station very helpful. The manageress took me to one side as she’d become aware of a couple of personal issues my family had and asked me if I was ok, was I sleeping, am I relaxing etc. recommended the local pharmacy if needed. Also around an issue my son was having and she sought to find a solution for us. Where else do you get that personal touch for the management team! Water slides on site! Genius! Locally a pharmacy, supermarket, small shops and clinic if needed. Beach is meant to be nearby but we’ve not felt the need to venture out yet. My only gripe is the time you have to get up to guarantee a sun lounger or two around the pool. It’s crazy early and the reservation rule is not enforced on any level. I don’t want to mark the hotel down for this though as everything else has been so super. Apart from that we hope to come back again! My youngest son already asked if we could come back here and we’ve not left yet! Unheard of from him!

Lovely hotel, modern and fresh decor, kept immaculate with wonderful friendly staff. Animacion team are fantastic, engaging but not over powering. Kids loved having slides on site. Not too big a hotel, rooms spotless and spacious. Have a fridge, kettle and hairdryer in room. Food choices fab. On tap wine and cocktails ok, beer, cider, spirits, ice poles and extensive snack bar offerings a real winner. Note no inflatables or balls in the big pool but actually this made things work better. Plenty sunbeds. 10- 15 mins to 2 beautiful beaches. Easy to uber to main attractions or in to Albufeira if wanted. Supermarket within 5 mins walk. Highly recommend for families with kids up to 13/14. May be too quiet an area for older kids. Hotel offers daily activities & clubs for kids up to 8, sports and teen club for ages 9-16 ( with access to play stations/VR etc for up to 2 hrs on 5/7 days) Free WiFi with pretty good coverage all over.

In resort currently…a first impressions review… The hotel is lovely. Big positives are Massive clean rooms, even though we didn’t pay for a pool view room we have a view of the slides pool and a partial sea view. Beautiful pool - massive pool party on a Friday. Shame this isn’t a more frequent feature as it was amazing, twice a week might be nice so that those arriving on a Friday get to participate. Lots of sun loungers but more on that later. Seems to be a lot on offer for kids. A really nice place for adults to relax too. Hotel is spotless and staff seem really friendly. Fairly good range buffet restaurant and I think it might depend upon the time you go as meat gets dry and quite over-done, same as any buffet really. Sushi last night was super yummy. It’s a shame that the OJ in the morning is akin to Sunny D, it might even be Sunny D. So sugary and sweet. Would be nice to have a fresh option. Pretty minor because the breakfast spread is pretty amazing and I think you’d be hard pushed not to find something you like. Communication ahead of arrival was really great. The main negative, and contrary to reviews, is apparently you have to be up at apparently 6:30-7am to get a sun lounger which is insane and detrimental to relaxation. I don’t want to get up at that time to get a sunbed by the pool. Need to be in a position to have a fair shot without getting up at the crack of dawn! Having kids like everyone else we want to ensure they are safe in the pool. If you get up later than 7am you’re not getting a sunnlouger by the main pool! Other than that early impressions are really fab and looking forward to our time here.

Absolutely superb! Never seen a complex so clean!. Every part of the complex was immaculate for the whole time we was there . The staff were brilliant and the food was superb. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody going to the algarve, you will not be disappointed.
