Cheerfulway Balaia Plaza

I've been visiting hotels and aparthotels around the world for 30 years. And this was the most bizarre experience I've ever had. I'd like to understand what the "management" is trying to do in running the hotel the way they are doing (do they intend to break up the business in order to buy it?). The physical structure of the hotel is OK, but everything is abandoned and destroyed. EVERYTHING. All kinds of dirt and pests in all the common areas and apartments. Use and sale of illicit ***** in the common areas of the hotel. People of very dubious character walking around the hotel. Filthy or disused swimming pools. Dirty, old, poorly served breakfast. Elevators work "when they want to". Clogged sewage pipes. Poorly lit and clearly unsafe. Receptionists lost in making reservations. Few bed linens/towels/etc., dirty and torn. In short, a terrible experience that I won't repeat.
