The property is really very, very beautiful, the room is dated and the cleaning needs to be reviewed, the smell of humidity, and the damp sheets are not great, we arrived there was food in our fridge, we reported it and we were told that it was the cleaning lady who didn't think there were people there, so no check before arrival.

Had a really nice stay, was out with friends for a stag do, enjoyed the breakfast I had two plums and two ham sandwiches over two days, probably didn’t help doing a all nighter on the first night.

Beautiful spot, wonderful-kind-helpful staff. It was very pleasant to see families and children enjoying themselves. The breakfast buffet was divine! Poolside relaxing was fantastic. I am a huge fan of this hotel. Highly recommend.

Mixed feelings / review about this hotel. While the rooms originally given to us were facing trees instead of the ocean, they were able to switch our rooms albeit on separate floors (we are a family of 5 with reservations for two oceanview rooms). There was a foul odor coming out of the drain in our bathroom the second day as well as little roaches on the floor. While we were offered a deepclean, we declined because we arent sure of what cleaners will be used. We were asked if we wanted to switch rooms but at this point we were leaving in a day so we said no. The water delivery was also strange and inconsistent. We got water in our room but our kids didn’t. These were the lows of our stay. The best part of the stay is the management and how Maiana Pontes handled the issues. She listened and provided solutions to our family to make the rest of our stay pleasant in the midst of all the issues. Breakfast was also pleasant - just know that if you aren’t there by 830/900, there may be a line. The grounds were great, pool area was never crowded and the sushi and the drinks at the bar were great.

L'emplacement est très beau, proche front de mer et plage. Chambre standards à rafraichir : papier peint qui se décolle, tâche de rouille dans la salle de bain, tâches sur la chaise et le cabriolet... Etablissement trop cher !

Could not fault the location of this hotel, in a lovely spot with bars and restaurants on the same street without being too rowdy. Pool area was always clean, always got a sunbed and the snack bar was useful and well priced. We got our safety deposit back less than 24 hours after returning home too. Rooms aren’t very modern but I expect that with the Alvarve but clean and comfortable. Chairs on the balcony could do with being more robust and comfortable. Public areas of the hotel were clean and I could tell it had recently been renovated.
