I recently had a 6 night stay here . I wish it could have been longer but at the time of booking that was all that was available. I last visited about 5 years ago, and as then, this last visit was perfect . The 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor was being cleaned as I arrived , I was allowed in but warned of the still slightly wet floors by the housekeeper and one of the office staff who was helping . Clearly teamwork is an important ethos with the Almondbloom Villas company ! Once I'd unpacked I went to visit the nearby Algartolhos Supermarket for some essential supplies , a most strenuous trek of about 60 metres ! On my return visit I saw the housekeeper, we had a very pleasant and amusing conversation with the aid of the Google Translate app on her phone ! I can strongly recommend this by the way , I later downloaded it to my own Samsung ! The apartment itself is roomy and is well supplied with towels, including beach towels. I used the latter when using the sunbeds on the roof terrace. If you happen to book a ground floor apartment then sunbeds are available by the small swimming pool. Also supplied in the apartment is teabags, coffee capsules for the coffee machine (I didn't use this so can't comment on the quality of either ) , lots of miniature bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, but oddly just ONE bog roll. These were available at the supermarket at a very reasonable price. There is also a good quality , large, foldable clothes airer AND a basket full of clothes pegs . It seems the ladies at Almondbloom have thought of everything . From the apartment block it is a fairly short walk to the beach. Turn left, go down the road, to the right is a set of steps which take you to the road that gently slopes down to the beachfront. Walking back I tend to prefer the long way back up the gently sloping roads, thus avoiding going UP the steps. I'm getting old ! I slept very well indeed. There is a King Size bed in one bedroom , which I used. The back bedroom has two singles . Olhos de Agua is a much quieter area than Albufeira, and so at no point was my sleep interrupted by drunken shouting, screaming, singing , hen parties, stag parties, or unduly load alcohol fuelled noises . I'm a light sleeper and on one occasion I could hear somebody snoring--that was the only minor gripe . If you or any of your party have a mobility issue, it's worth asking for a ground floor apartment, thus avoiding the steps leading to those on the first floor . In summary I'd recommend Almondbloom and this block of apartments without hesitation. They are immaculate, and Almondbloom are a pleasure to do business with, their communication is great , even when Google Translate is occasionally required ! So in summary I'll say that I recommend Almondbloom and this block of apartments without any hesitation.
