Better than excellent
This ha s got to be the finest accommodation I have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent - from communication from Darren to the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage. A wonderful home from home.
Two things I need to point out, though:
1. If you arrive after dark, please have a torch handy for the key security box combination lock.
2. There are very few, if any, taxis available in Bridgnorth on a Sunday evening. No fault of Darrens but it's a looooong walk back to the cottage up a hill!
Overall, this is a superb place to stay if you're needing a quiet getaway in the area.

Comfy break!
Perfect wee digital detox before the madness of Christmas, so quiet, beautiful and peaceful.
Lovely, well equipped, warm and comfy cottage!
Brucey bonus is the secure garden with grass for the dogs! Hosts were perfect lots of info and support while we were there.

Perfect Stay
Welcome pack on arrival including a bottle of Wine, communication was spot on, Darren was the perfect host.
Very clean property, lovely quiet location, handy for everything Bridgnorth has to offer, we intend to return.

Great weekend away
Great location to be able to leave car and walk into Bridgnorth. Like a home from home and Darren was always available if needed. Lots to do locally.

I stayed at Pine Tree Lodge in Bridgnorth over Christmas 2023. I arrived on December 22nd until 29th. It was a very enjoyable stay and the location is in the village of Oldbury a 20 minute pleasant walk to the town of Bridgnorth. The property is set in beautiful grounds and in a delightful setting. The host Darren is most helpful and a very chsrming person. I have stayed many times there and I look forward to the next occasion. I thoroughly reconmend staying at Pine Tree Lodge.

Amazing bijou cottage with everything you could need. Beautifully finished, clean and cosy. All the facilities you need for a home from home stay. The host Darren was lovely. Location is perfect for exploring with the Severn valley railway. Picturesque Bridgenorth and Bewdley. Shrewsbury not far away and close to the Welsh border

Lovely 3 night stay, location is brilliant and the cottage has everything you need - including a bottle of wine on arrival! The cottage is very private and has a gated patio area so great for the dog to have some space outside too. Bed was one of comfiest slept in for a while! Easy walk into Bridgnorth too. We will be back!

We tried to book dog friendly accommodation in town and fortunately got knocked back, which led to us booking Pine Tree Lodge 2, which was perfect. It's a 15 minute walk into town and lovely accommodation. Nice and secluded, warm and cosy. Our dog was very nervous about walking along the surprisingly busy Oldbury road, but in dryer weather (it was absolutely bucketing down!) we'd have taken the river footpaths via Daniel's Mill etc. The lodge is lovely and the hosts are super considerate of their guests needs. We hope to return.
