Booked online using points. Check in / out was no problem. Room was ok. However, 2 days after I left there was an additional charge on my visa. Hotel refused to investigate. Several emails / phone calls and 3 different excuses later Choice finally got them to issue a refund and Choice added points to my account for the inconvenience. Keep checking your charge card, even if you aren't billed at checkout !

Awesome place to visit. Old Saybrook is a beautiful little ocean town in CT. If you haven’t been you’re missing out! I stopped here every weekend after leaving MA and jumped in the ocean. It’s awesome! Lots of good seafood options and things to do. Visit Connecticut if you have not.

It was really nice, the tv had basic cable so the kids were able to watch their favorite cartoons! The weather wasn’t on our side this go around but the hotels pool really made the stay. It was clean and well kept.

It right off a busy road and a curve so didnt feel safe foing to a walk by myself, but the property itself was decent size to strtch legs

The staff that cleaned the room and made up the beds daily did a great job! The ibly significant drawback during our 3 day stay was that the electronic room keys worked on only 10-15 percent of the time, and this is NOT an exaggeration. Once I tried every outside door and none opened. I had to go around outside to the main entrance where I was told at the front desk (by the person who checked us in the day before) that whoever checked us in did not realize we were staying for 3 days, even though he, himself, had checked us in earlier for our PREPAYED 3-night stay, In summary,the lock system does not work properly and should be fixed and then maintained.
