Sandcastle Inn & Motel

Place is pretty awful, we booked through ******* and boy did I mess up. When we arrived at 4pm this nice lady was scrambling to clean which wasn’t a problem…30 minutes later asked if we could place our belongings in the room while we went downtown and she said that was fine. We left and came back three hours later and our door was wide open, figuring she was still cleaning but she was not.. our stuff just being free for anyone to take. The room looked as it did in the picture but just really banged up, the shower I wouldn’t step in as it looked disgusting, I went to poor a cup of club soda for my son in one of the cups provided and it was dirty (dried on soda maybe?). All in all the best part of booking this was knowing we were able to leave the next morning! Our neighbors that arrived at the same time had the same type of experience (no hot water), listen to the reviews… good luck!

Pacman studio Check in was easy with combo lock. No need to check in at hotel. Room was average size with everything you would need for cooking. Has small sink fridge combo . Which I had never seen before. Room was average in size. if your looking for an inexpensive place to crash while your in town. It does the job. Quarter mile downhill to beach. The updates to make this look more oalita le were just pieces of wood going up the wall. Looked a lot better in pics. Big surprise was the Mrs pacman on the wall. Had a bit of fun till we realized the joystick does not move Mrs pacman down. Just up and side to side but still fun. Place was clean host was very nice. It is what it is. Nice place to stay in a budget.

When we arrived there was no heat, but were accommodating with bringing a space heater until the issue was fix later that night.
