Seabreeze Motel

Def run down. Shower ran water all night. Shower didn’t work properly; gave me cold water and the water rain mostly out of the faucet.

This property is a crack shack! Desperately in need of maintenance and updates! The walls are literally paper thin and the blind on the window wasn’t even covering the window!! We had to use towels to try and have any privacy. The tv didn’t work, ceiling panels were falling out of the ceiling, and THE BEDS were so broken down that I think they may have picked them up at the dump!! Both my husband and I struggled to breathe in the room we had- assuming mold. The only thing going for it is the location.

We were only hear for one night but it was absolutley perfect for what we needed for the evening. Love that we were walking dstance to the beach. We will be staying again .

Great place Friendly staff, comfortable & clean rooms, beautiful pool and great location. Free parking. I definitely recommend this place.

Our room was not cleaned when we arrived. We were told we would be called when it was ready, but were not. Office staff hung up on us when we called to find out if the room was ready and the set the phones to be picked up by the answering machine so that they didn’t have to talk to us. When we finally reached they they were argumentative and disrespectful. The room was in poor condition with exposed outlets, mold in the bathroom, filthy carpets and broken ceiling tiles. The walls had no real soundproofing, which means you could hear not only the neighboring occupants, but also the trains that go right behind the hotel.

I booked a girls night for my friend and I a month in advance. I called the hotel and booked directly through them. When I called I told them the night we were staying, they took my information and payment and told me I was all set. We hired babysitters and had everything in place for a fun time at OOB. It takes 3+ hours to get there from where we live. When we arrived we went to check in and the employee told us that they booked us for the wrong day and they were booked for the night. She went and got the manager to see if anything could be done. The manager sits down doesn’t even make eye contact with us just stares at the computer. She called a sister hotel and asked if they had any openings and they said they would call her back. She went in the back and that’s the last we seen of her. She had her employee come out and tell us there was nothing they can do. No sorry nothing! I asked if we could park in their lot until we figured out what we’re going to do. The employee hesitated and said well the spots are for the guests and we have just enough spots for them. I said can you ask the manager?! So she does and comes back to tell us the manager will come speak to us. We waited 15-20 minutes, the manager never came out. The employee comes out and tells us we can park there and gives us a pass. We called every hotel in the area but all we’re booked up for the weekend. We decided we would just park somewhere and sleep in the car because we already paid babysitters and we weren’t driving home. I called the motel and asked if they refunded my card. The employee assured me they will refund me even though he didn’t take any of my information down so he had no idea who he was talking to. I asked him who the owner of the motel was, he said he didn’t know because he was new and then hangs up on me. I decided to look on *********** for seabreeze motel and I see seabreeze motel 1 room left act quick. So I call the guy back and told him it says they have a room on *********** and asked what that was about. He said there wasn’t any rooms and hangs up. I’m extremely frustrated with this motel and the employees. What was supposed to be a fun filled weekend away ended up a vacation from hell. We ended up sleeping in our car at a campground near by. I tried calling three times since and have left messages but no one is returning my calls. Beware of this place. If you do book over the phone make sure you call and triple check the dates before arriving!
