Couldn’t rate this highly enough! Fantastic location within a 5-10 minute commute of Watchet and Maidenhead. Lovely, clean and well presented property with the proprietors being just as welcoming and charming. Extremely comfortable nights sleep followed by a comforting breakfast in the stunning dining room. We were also introduced to the farm next door as we have a love for animals, this really made our 8 year old daughter’s day. Thank you so very much, we will be returning.

We stayed at Steps Farmhouse in November 2024, just for one night following a break at Cricket St Thomas. Well, it put that accommodation and food to shame. The welcome on the dark wet night was so warm. The room was in an annexe building. It was so cosy. Bed, comfy chairs and little kitchenette area for tea and coffee and a bijou ensuite shower room. It was all spotlessly clean and once the extra heater was going it was lovely and warm. The recommendation of the pub up the road was spot on. To arrange breakfast, there was selection sheet for items to have for your cooked breakfast. This was dropped into a postbox before the morning each day. The dining room was laid out beautifully with everything you could wish for, including cereal, fruit, porridge pots & bread etc. This included gluten free options. Your cooked breakfast arrived, steaming hot, having been freshly prepared as chosen. Basically, we couldn't fault it and will be going back when the weather is better, so we can use the honesty bar in the summer house in the garden. Sharon & Paul are lovely friendly and attentive people. A fabulous place to stay

A list minute booking during a wedding party, lovely couple and very accommodating. A proper farmhouse full English breakfast with everything else to offer too. Would highly recommend

Perfect stay at Steps Farmhouse
This B&B was just perfect. A lovely welcome and beautiful spotlessly clean bedroom with lots of character and lots of little extras. We had the best breakfast we have had in a long time and the area was great for walking and the coast.

Exceptional value for money - a real find!
What a great find! I travel for work around the SW and was delighted to find this excellent B&B. It has everything I look for - a home from home feel, on-site secure parking, spotlessly clean and with great in- room facilities (fridge, tea / coffee making), bathroom essentials and a comfy bed. Sharon is just the best host - she really cares for her guests and wants them to be comfortable. Lovely to find someone who loves what they do and wants to share her home. Great coffee at breakfast and a wide selection - including locally sourced cooked breakfast ingredients.
I will return for a holiday next time!

The best b&b ever
This is the best place I have ever stayed! The garden was amazing. I just wanted to cancel the rest of my trip, and stay there the rest of my holiday:) The hosting couple was also very friendly and welcoming. I am sure I wikk be back!
