The building is not new, but I was able to enjoy the quiet space in the mountains.
It was difficult to adjust the temperature of the bath shower, so if this place is good, it would be even better.
If I have the opportunity, I would like to try the izakaya restaurant attached to the hotel.

It was my first time in Okutama, but I was interested because the reviews were good, so I stayed there. Check-in was from 2:00 p.m., but I arrived at 1:50 p.m., and they said it was a little early and seemed annoyed, so I felt bad and asked them to wait on a chair at the entrance, but they said they didn't want me to wait, and I couldn't deny the unpleasant feeling when I arrived. I don't think it would be a problem at all in a large hotel, but the service was disappointing. However, the room was spacious, there was a kotatsu, and it was clean, and the bath was filled with trees and nature, which made me feel good. The food was simple, but not bad at all, and the salt-grilled river fish was the best I've ever had, it was a good size, had no odor, and was perfectly salted. I also liked eating the vegetable platter with miso. There was a wide variety. I thought it was very satisfying for the price.
