We were a large group and had booked our holiday last September. When we arrived check-in took a while with no communication, however, they did not seem to have rooms available and decided to put us in family rooms. Again no discussions, some of us were told we would have to move rooms the next day. We were taken to a family room and told we had been upgraded, so we unpacked and got ready to enough our holiday. Next morning, most of us were told we had to move to rooms we had booked, so asked to speak to the manager as the night receptionist had not communicated this. The front office manager was the most unprofessional person we had met, with no customer service skills, he did not listen or care that we were being messed around and wasted half a day. Most of us moved rooms that morning, which we happy with, but got no apology from the management. The hotel itself is not a 5 star, some areas need refurbishment. Food in the restaurants was good, lots of choice but becomes repetitive. All the staff in the restaurants, bars, housekeeping, entertainment were friendly and helpful. Overall, we would not return to this resort again because of how we were treated.
