The room was OK, though the mattresses haven’t been switched out in a long time to keep up with the Hampton Inn standards put in place several years ago. I’ve been to 50+ countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels from hostels to five star. This wasn’t much better than a nice hostel. Cleanliness standards were so-so. I found long blond hairs in my bed sheets. I’m sure they’re hard to see in the laundry, but still not pleasant to have to remove. The towels were clean but stained. When we first arrived, kids were running up and down the 2nd floor hallway. We were told we’d be on the 3rd floor and wouldn’t hear them. But why were they allowed to continually run? We stayed on the weekend and found that breakfast ends at 9am everyday, including Saturday and Sunday. Again, having stayed in many hotels, I’ve never seen breakfast end so early on the weekend. When I asked the lady attending the breakfast area, she didn’t even turn around, she just said “Yep, ends at 9, you missed it”. I also asked the guy at the front desk and he had nothing to say. Usually Hampton will at least offer a pre-packaged bag with some breakfast items, but that wasn’t available either. Overall, it was probably the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at, and I do prefer Hampton. I won’t be staying here again.
