We have just returned from two nights at this B&B. We were warmly welcomed, shown to a spotlessly clean room with a huge comfortable bed. The shower was equally spotless with excellent water pressure. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful, beautifully cooked and very much enjoyed. A great stay, thank you!

A well located place to stay just a short walking distance from the town centre and train station. Our double room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with an excellent shower and good WiFi. Breakfast had an excellent range including cooked options, cereal etc. There is a comfortable lounge containing lots of useful information. Would definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable short break. Lesley and Mark are excellent and friendly hosts. The accomodation is homely but also of the highest quality and we were very well looked after. The little extras, like fresh biscuits and refreshing the room every day even though we stayed 6 nights made our stay even more special. Breakfasts were superb too. The location was great for exploring Dartmoor and the other many places of interest near Okehampton.

I stayed for 3 nights. This guest house was warm and welcoming. My room was a single but still spacious enough to walk around, make a cup of tea.. and chill out. The bed was comfy. The room was spotless. Nice to have tea/coffee biscuits supplied. The shower again was spotless. As for breakfast it was served to you direct. No queue for cereal. I would recommend it. Nice stay.

Had a brilliant 2 night stay. Mark and Lesley were wonderful hosts the room was very clean and spacious I slept really well never heard any outside noise. The cooked breakfast on both mornings was great, good quality ingredients very hot and tasty. The train station is about 10 mins walk away it’s on a hill so if you have issues get a taxi the guest house is really worth it. Thanks Again Steve

Was looking for a room to crash in Okehampton for 1 night and I am very glad I stumbled across Meadowlea. A very well kept, friendly and welcoming B&B. The room had everything I could need, was clean and spacious. Breakfast blew me away, very filling and lots of choice. Would stay again! (Will stay again!)

Stayed at Meadowlea guesthouse with a friend for one night. Easy parking outside. Rooms clean and spacious with tea and coffee making kit and hairdryer. Bathroom also well-equipped with a nice big shower. Breakfast was fab - freshly cooked and a good choice. Only downside was some traffic noise through our bedroom window from the street outside, although that did quieten down overnight. Pack earplugs! We were very happy with our stay.

I stayed for one night on the 10th of September after my organised walk was cancelled and feeling a little lost. Warm and comfy stay in the top of the house, got some good advice the next day about where to walk. Nice stay will stay again one day hopefully on a cycle tour which is what it seems most popular for!
