The Abidah by Accra - Adults Only

I spent one night here with my partner for my birthday and, to be honest, I left feeling underwhelmed. The property itself is beautiful—modern, clean, and really well-kept, but the overall guest experience needs some fine-tuning. I had mentioned during the booking that I was celebrating a birthday, so I expected at least a small gesture in the room, even something simple like balloons or a card. Instead, nothing was prepared. At check-in, the front desk agent offered the standard welcome drink and wished me happy birthday, but that was it. Dinner was another point of confusion. The information given on arrival stated that we could choose between A la Carte or Buffet, but the only option available was an Asian buffet. Many of the dishes weren’t suitable for us, and even after explaining that, we were simply told the buffet was all they had and that we could try Oistins if we wanted something different. What made it more disappointing was learning after my departure that I could have gone to the sister property for dinner; information that was never shared with me during my stay. There’s also a 24-hour tea and coffee station, which sounds great, but there were no snacks or even a small pack of biscuits to go with it. The next morning, we decided to have breakfast in our room, but since the property doesn’t offer room service, we had to carry everything back ourselves. After checking out, I stayed on property for lunch. The waitress at the bar asked if I’d received a birthday plate, and when I told her I hadn’t, she brought one along with a bottle of sparkling wine. It was a thoughtful gesture, just one I wish had been acknowledged from the start, as it would have made the entire stay feel more special. Overall, the property has great potential, but the lack of communication and attention to detail left me unsure if I would return or even recommend it to someone else.

We stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon at the end of September 2025. The hotel is showing some incomplete snag works from construction but overall a nice place to stay. Kudos to Marissa in Remous restaurant for taking great care of us at breakfast and lunch for the time we were there

Best all-inclusive hotel I've ever stayed at. The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff was so personable and helpful. The view of the beach was divine and there was a lovely swimming spot just steps away. It's a short walk to Oistins for some food, dancing, and people watching. I WILL be back next year.
