I stayed in an independent villa with a private pool, 24-hour butler service and Rolls shuttle service. It is indeed better. And the sandals in Barbados are also the best among all the sandals.
One of the features of Sandals all-inclusive resorts is that there are twelve restaurants in each village. In comparison, other brand resorts generally have five or six restaurants.

Almost a perfect vacation except an issue with our room. As soon as we walked in there was a very strong smell. We should have said something at that point but I figured it would air out once we opened the sliders up. We unpacked and when to enjoy the resort. We we got back same smell. Husband and I talked out going down to see if we could change rooms but because we already unpacked we decided against . The room remained damp for the 3 days but we delt with it, however on the morning that we checked out we woke up and our iPhones had not charged getting an error message that the chargers we’re wet! We left 10 hours ago and they still are not working. I had to borrow a charger at airport to charge my phone. When we went to pack the rest of the clothes from the closet they were actually damp. I should have brought the issue up before we left but I was rushing around trying to find a charger and then had to leave. I wanted to leave this message so the issue can be checked on. Room 9105. Other than that it was an excellent vacation, great food, service and lovely grounds. My only regret is not saying something about the room to see if we could be moved.

We got married here and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The location was fantastic, the amenities were plentiful. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Our favorite was Darien and he went above and beyond on several occasions to make this a memorable vacation. He deserves a raise! We will return for our anniversary.

We had the best time at Sandals Royal Barbados! The resort is beautiful and clean. We stayed in a swim up butler room in the Saint Lawrence Building. Our butlers Reanna, Jennlika, and Shontelle were amazing! They were always surprising us with things and would save us great seats at the pool. I loved our room and never heard dogs barking or other noise people complain about in this building. It was great seeing monkeys also on our walks back to our room. We loved the infinity pool, it had a fantastic DJ and Ian did great water aerobics. The bartenders at Lovers Lane made great drinks, and Mariam at the French restaurant we had a great time talking to for breakfast and dinner. My husband had a great time diving and said the crew was excellent. We had zero complaints at this resort, and will definitely be returning! the service all around was amazing and there is so much at the resort to do and see.

A lovely resort that has something for anyone. Because the two resorts are connected, there is plenty to do and the options are endless whether you go on a short stay or a long one. Whether you are a partygoer or looking for peace and quiet you will find your spot here.

This was our first time at a Sandals property and our first time in Barbados. The weather didn’t disappoint and the property was lovely with beautiful landscaped gardens. Our room was beautiful as we had a first floor room overlooking the gardens which was delightful. The maid service was fabulous and the rooms were looked after daily and the room fridges restocked daily. I wouldn’t say though that this was a 5* resort with my reasons being that the food options for vegetarians was very very disappointing with only one veggie meal on the menu at each restaurant. I had to request that the hotel address this as I found myself eating the same meal twice over at each restaurant! The lunch options for vegetarians again was exceptionally poor. The entertainment was dreadful in fact it was that bad we found ourselves in the piano bar most nights. The staff all said hello and asked you how you are but it did feel forced out of them and scripted. The water sports was not really existent as the sea was very rough meaning I couldn’t take the catamaran out on my own and the water was too rough for the canoes. I did go out 3 times on the catamaran with the water sports staff, when it was safe to do so, they took me out 5 minutes at a time as they seemed frightened of the sea! What I would say was that the Spa staff were lovely especially Dionne who looked after me on two occasions when I had my massages. The late check-out was a god send but this was given to us complimentary of Sandals after an incident I experienced whilst I was sat on my balcony. The guest across the way in his bungalow room wrongly mistook Sandals for Hedonism! and I will leave it there!

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit to Sandals as a single person. I came with a group of friends for my birthday and was well taken care of! After spending 6 days, I left with not one single complaint. Everyone was very helpful and attentive and always served with a smile. Azaria, Johnoy, Alesia(sp-housekeeper) Jesse, Annette, Aiden, Darren, Melissa, Zahria! Everyone was phenomenal! I know I’m missing so many. Thank you Sandals for making my birthday milestone so special and unforgettable!!!!
