Het hotel heeft werkelijk de meest fantastische ligging, midden in het bos. De foyer heeft veel zithoeken met lekkere grote banken en zitjes waar je kan zitten als het slecht weer is of gewoon 's avonds wat kan lezen. Het ontbijt is goed, veel keus. Op de kamer heb je geen last van andere reizigers ( of iedereen was toevallig heel rustig tijdens ons verblijf). De kamers zelf zijn wel erg gedateerd, zoals ook te lezen in andere reviews. Mijn kamer rook ook een beetje vreemd. Maar ik zat aan de achterkant, tegen het bos aan. Bleef verrassend koel (1e etage). 'S nachts het raam open gezet en toch geen last van muggen ( waar ik wel op rekende). Je betaald niet de hoofdprijs dus al met al was ik heel tevreden over mijn verblijf. Het hele hotel straalde echt rust uit, heb een geweldig weekend gehad. O ja, en het personeel is super vriendelijk. In de herfst komen wij nog een keer terug!

Wat een armoedige bende is dit. We hebben ook nog eens een uur gewacht op onze bestelling - in die tijd hebben we meerdere mensen die niet werden geholpen weer zien vertrekken. Verstandig, hadden wij ook beter kunnen doen. Gordon Ramsey eat your heart out.

Wie haben ein wenig aus der Not heraus dieses Hotel gebucht. Zimmer müssen dringend renoviert werden und Matratzen gehören ausgetauscht! Aber für € 110,00 das Doppelzimmer inkl. Frühstück kann ich nicht viel erwarten. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut, alles da von Rühreier mit Bacon über Pancakes, phantastische Croissants und frischer Käse und Aufschnitt auch der Kaffee war gut! Am meisten überrascht hat uns jedoch der Ort Oisterwijk!! Ein super netter Ort mit chicen Boutiquen und tollen auch exclusiveren Restaurants wie z.B. De Swaen!!! Den Ort werden wir definitiv wieder besuchen, das Hotel nicht!

High tea was very disappointing. The service was also not serviceable. At home you can make the table even more cozy... the food was just put down and then no employee was seen at the table... sad intention and certainly not recommended. One evening we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was really good, but around 20 euros for a cutlet with vegetables and chips seems a bit excessive to me, not to mention the cost of the desserts. we had high tea here on Sunday. it's better to call it a tea hour because the only thing that was English was the scones. What is stated on the site is completely incorrect. no sandwiches, muffins, chocolates, white rolls instead of brown.
