This was a very pleasant hotel. The owner and his family were lovely and helpful. The restaurant was outstanding. We had the grilled shrimp and the scallops, both were delicious. The bar was nice to sit and see the sea and has a nice wine selection. Breakfast was also nice with a good selection, including homemade Santiago cake and eggs in addition to pastries, meat and cheese. We recommend this quiet, clean, well run hotel

L’hôtel est isolé dans un quartier très calme à quelques centaines de mètres de l'océan. La chambre est vaste avec vue sur mer. Présence d'une bouilloire et de café dans la chambre. Le propriétaire parle le français, ce qui n'est pas courant en Galice. Oia est sur le chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle portuguais

This was booked as part of a tour. I was walking the Camino. Even though the town of Oia had absolutely nothing to do in it as the church and convent were under renovation, I enjoyed staying and relaxing here after my walk. My large, quiet room 104 had a nice view of the water. I decided to dine at the hotel in the evening and was glad I did. The 14E meal was pleasant. I started off with eggs and local ham and then had pork with mushrooms and rice pudding for dessert. I could feel the care people put into this sweet place.

The hosts were fabulous, the rooms comfortable and nicely furnished with modern bathrooms. Dinner in their restaurant was reasonably priced and fresh. Breakfast omelette was delicious. Upon arrival we sat out on the back deck overlooking the ocean enjoying a drink and nibbles. It was very relaxing. Couldn’t have asked for better service in a very small village.

Trotz sehr früher Anreise, bekam ich das Zimmer schon nach einer geringen Wartezeit. In Vergleich mit anderen zwei sterne Hotels, hat uns dieses hier besser gefallen als andere, obwohl alles schon sehr alt ist. Es wirkt aber sehr gepflegt und sauber. Danke dafür! Unser Zimmer hatte außerdem Meerblick (das haben alle Zimmer!) und genug Platz, allerdings ist alles ein wenig hellhörig, allerdings nicht so, dass wir es als störend empfunden hätten. Die hoteleigene "Cafeteria/bar" von 15-18 Uhr können wir sehr empfehlen, es gibt eine große Auswahl zu guten Preisen. Das Abendessen haben wir nicht genutzt aber es gab eine große Auswahl und wirkte preiswert. Wer nicht als Pilger kommt, braucht ein Auto, wenngleich ich das Hotel mit dem Bus aus A Guarda erreichen konnte. Fazit: man kann hier wirklich übernachten, es gibt modernere Unterkünfte aber man kann sich hier trotzdem definitiv wohlfühlen! Danke an den Chef!

Lovely clean place with views over the ocean from the room and from their terrace. Great breakfast options, which include fresh tarts and potato cakes. Three course dinner for 15 Eiros is a bargain too. Owner speaks several languages and is very friendly.

The smell is terrible in the rooms. It is an inescapable, pungent, odor that made me happy to check out of the room. The door hinge was rusted and broken. The towels are like sandpaper. While this hotel is well rated for cleanliness, the floor was covered in debris and what appeared to be toenail clippings. I am baffled at how this hotel receives good reviews.
