Juniper Hill Inn

We’ve been taking our now teens to OGT every August, since they were little. We stayed at Sparkhawk once, and both the Mariner the Milestone multiple times. This was our first stay at Juniper Hill Inn, and it became a family favorite! From the convenient location to the center of town, to the kindness shown by the front desk staff, to the great amenities (indoor & outdoor poor, jacuzzis both in & out, and a fitness center). We stayed in the main building, in room 125 and it was great for us—down a hallway, close to the indoor pool/jacuzzi and fitness room. It was a double queen room with a refrigerator, and ample drawers in the tv console. We also appreciated being able to reserve a rollaway bed ($20/night) so our son & daughter had separate sleeping space. Thanks for a great stay Juniper Hill Inn, we will definitely be back!!

Priced quite high for a glorified motel but that being said, JHI was very clean and best of all, so close to town (5 min walk) and the main beach (10 or so min walk) so the location couldn’t be beat! And the hotel gives you chairs to take to the beach which for sure added to the value! We had a very nice stay!

We enjoy our stay with our family. The rooms were clean, loved the end room on 2nd floor. perfect location to walk into town and beach

We have been going to the Juniper for years and have never had a bad experience until now. Although the room was clean. the wallpaper was peeling on every wall, the dresser had a top drawer that would not stay closed and the AC was noisy. We let the front desk know and was informed that our complaint would be escalated but we never heard from anyone to acknowledge. Very disappointing. Will have to think about going back.

I booked the their best room at a cost of almost $1300. Which is a suite. We were on vacation. You want to be comfortable. When we arrived we went to check in only to realize there were 14 steep steps to go up to get in the suite. I have two knee replacements, hip replacement and going for surgery on spinal stenosis. Therefore, (disabled/handicapped) Iasked to change the suite. They did not have anymore suites on 1st floor. They could accommodate us in a regular king room. Obviously a significant difference in the cost between rooms. The attendant at the desk said they would credit the difference. Then he said GM said no. I told him I'd like to talk to him. 3x I tried he was not in or available. (Run around) I finally got him on day 2. His name is Chintal Patel.I told him it was only fair to credit the difference, because of my handicap and it was never disclosed there were all those steps. "He said absolutely NOT that's well over $300. HE WAS ADAMANT! I told him it wasn't good business practice. He said he didn't care. They never offered to clean the room in 3 days. They give you a list to check off if you need clean towels, etc. I would not go here again. Staff were nice other than Patel. You need to read article from Hotel from Hell!

This is a nice and convenient hotel. Tjere is a lot of nice extras. Slippers, Keurig, Robe, and the bed and pillows were comfy. Easy walk to town and beach. Request the (not the main building) because the indoor pool made the room slightly dank. We got in the room early which was nice as well.
