This is the most basic motel in the world,a bed, a TV and a table and chair that's it.people walking the halls trying to sell stuff, if you know what mean. People standing outside looking really shady at night Not comfortable taking my dogs out at night. You really need to think about staying hear

Very horrible hotel. Supposed to be smoke free. My blanket and draperies had cigarette burns and the room smelled of stale smoke. I called front desk to ask for a different blanket .They said no, housekeeping was closed. I argued that I could not sleep with a burn hole blanket. They said I could leave. Then they said that I must leave. I went to front desk to apologize if I had yelled on the phone, and ask again for a different blanket. They said I needed to leave. I refused and said I just wanted a peaceful night. The clerk called the police and had me removed! For asking for a non burned blanket. I had arrived around 8pm, after a long day. Check-in took 35 minutes and I was forceably evicted by 9pm. I had to find a different hotel, late at night that cost 3x the price. Also, very rude at check in. I watched the desk clerk raise his voice to many people checking in before me, and be very condescending and short-tempered to each guest before me. This hotel takes vouchers from homeless after a certain hour, and the place is very rundown. The entire place reeked of stale smoke. The windows open all the way, and there were several people sitting in their window sills, smoking and talking to each other. The place is very rundown and dirty. Also cigarette burn on bathroom counter, stained and dirty furniture, large patch marks on walls. Remnants of something that had dripped down the wall. Just awful. A terrible representation of the Motel 6 Brand.

If you love ***** HAIR in your shower, discovering wrappers and clumps of hair behind the bedside table when you go to plug in your phone charger because there are no USB ports, one threadbare, unraveling towel to share between two people, lumpy mattresses, wall heating and cooling units that don't work, SPILLED LUBE on the floor, and the scent of incense so strong it burns your nose hairs, don't miss out on this place! They advertise 59 dollar rooms available online, but charge 100. We were caught in a snowstorm and had no other options or would have left the moment we saw the gross condition of the room. We have stayed in a few other Motel 6 locations and while they are no-frills, they've always been clean and non-pungent. We had to open the window to get the incense smell to dissipate, and that's how we realized the heating unit was broken. The blankets are thin and it was a long, cold, stinky, night. How this place has anything other than one star ratings is nothing short of miraculous.

I made a reservation for my wife our 3 year old and myself, and when I arrived for check in I was told there was a “refundable” $50 incident deposit on top of the price I paid for the room. That was not specified anywhere in the reservation for the room. Not only that but the 2 times I visited the front desk for check in and check out the lady behind the desk just stared at me without saying anything. Not very friendly at all. The room itself was filthy. There was sticky stains all over one wall and most of the stuff in the room was dirty or damaged. Which is I’m sure why I didn’t get back my “refundable” deposit, because the room was a wreck before we even got there. Feels like a bait and switch if you ask me. I will not stay at this motel again, and will tell as many people as I can to steer clear of this little dump.

Room was clean and it was a nice quiet stay. No problem checking in and I got a good parking spot. Staff was awesome. Super friendly and very accomidating. I locked my key in my room and they had no issue making me a new one. :)

We book Motel 6’s when doing the snowbird drive because they accept dogs with no hassle. We arrived with our SUV packed full of our possessions with a motorcycle trailer in tow. We booked online and didn’t realize the specific location. It is downtown Ogden. Lots of homeless about, including several skeezy looking people sitting in and hanging around the Motel 6 parking lot. The hotel is old and rundown, with junk lying around outside next to the building and parking lot. Not wanting to risk a vehicle break-in given all of our possessions in the car, not to mention exposed motorcycle trailer, before checking in I asked the clerk if we could move our reservation to the Motel 6 on the I-15. The answer was no, you need to call ********** to make any changes. I tried that, but no dice. So we ****** up the $95 dollar charge as a loss and went to the Motel 6 on the I-15 where the hotel was perfectly nice and zero skeezy people hanging around.
