Met 12 personen gisteren geluncht Prijs/kwaliteit slecht. Voorgerecht 3 koude asperges met half gekookt ei met wat dressing. Hoofdgerecht (wéér) 2 lauwe asperges met twee rauwe , taaie lams koteletten met wat saus. Bakje patat en sla. Nagerecht twee profiteroles met witte chocolade saus. De presentatie was ook niets. Dit was het chefs menu. Ook het vegetarische gerecht stelde niet veel voor. Drie uur hiervoor aan tafel gezeten. U snapt… wij vonden het zeer teleurstellend en zullen dit restaurant niet aanraden.

De Beukenhof offers great classical French dishes at fair prices for this level of cooking. There is ample parking space next to the restaurant. The layout is spacious, offering lots of privacy and still keeping it cosy. Staff is attentive and service is at the right pace. In the summer you can have dinner in the garden. Great wines on offer as well! Price to quality ratio good.

Je hebt mooie hotels en mooie hotels waar persoonlijk nog echt persoonlijk is. Bij Villa Beukenhof voel je je als gast vanaf seconde 1 helemaal thuis. Hartelijke ontvangst, oprechte aandacht en een vriendelijke glimlach. Dat maakt hotel een van de leukste waar wij ooit geweest zijn. En het eten in het restaurant is ook nog van een hoog culinair niveau. Wij komen terug!!

Zeer sfeervol pand, attente bediening. Via social deal een 5-gangenmenu besteld. De deal betaal je terug met een onaangekondigde meerprijs voor een voorgerecht, 6 euro voor frietjes en maarliefst 8,50 voor een fles Spa rood. Meeste wijnen per glas 8 à 9 euro. Ons is niet duidelijk of ze zich culinair willen onderscheiden of dat ze gewoon een hotel met goed eten nastreven? Bij het eerste is er nog werk aan de winkel, bij het t****e mogen de prijzen omlaag worden aangepast. Overall hadden we echter, met name door de sfeervolle ambiance en vriendelijk personeel een aangename avond.

Wat jammer nu dat de prima maaltijd en de prachtige ambiance niet vergezeld gaan van een goede service. Het team slaagt er niet in om service te verlenen welke bij het niveau van de Beukenhof hoort. En service is zo’n belangrijk element van het succes! Bij aankomst geen ontvangst en zó druk was het niet. De tafel krijgt alleen aandacht wanneer de borden leeg zijn. De wijn wordt niet bijgeschonken. Aandacht zoeken lukt niet, want er is geen oogcontact. Het doet allemaal rommelig aan. Voor twee van de obers zat de dienst er tussentijds op. Zij verdwenen zonder even gedag te zeggen. Bij ons vertrek werden wij niet uitgeleide gedaan. Is het nu écht zo moeilijk om de gast een avondje in de watten te leggen??!! Daar is niets eens een horeca opleiding voor nodig. Kom op , schakel flink bij of ga eens bij een collega restaurant kijken!

Tolles Hotel, mit einer tollen Terrasse. Im Sommer ist diese bestimmt noch schöner als jetzt im Frühjahr. Die Tokyo-Suite besticht durch die gelungene Mischung aus Alt und Neu. Das Bett steht oben auf einer Empore, das Bad ist modern und luxuriös eingerichtet. Das Restaurant besticht durch zuvorkommendes Personal, eine große Weinkarte und exzellentes Essen, sowohl bei Optik und Geschmack. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es werden alles wünsche erfüllt. Ein paar kleine Tipps zur Verbesserung: Offene Löcher in den Wänden abdecken (zum Beispiel durch Bilder oder Ähnliches) Eine Menükarte auf englisch 1-2 Steckdosen mehr (vor allem am Bett) Die Ecke der Airconditioning abpolstern
