I would have loved to give them 5 stars. It is a nice quiet location. Rooms are nice, restaurant interior design is great. Breakfast was also very good with exceptions. What was not good was, power outlets were not always working, probably because of ongoing construction work. Water and minibar was not refilled every day. Salmon at breakfast was old and smelled bad on one day. Staff was very friendly though.

Гостеприимные хозяева, удобная постель, идеально чисто, есть все для комфортного отдыха. Прекрасное место с аутентично немецким колоритом, ну а вид из окна просто сказочный! Завтрак вкусный, но хотелось бы добавить в меню горячую овсяную кашу.

Wir haben im Rahmen einer Familienfeier eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht. Zimmer und Bad waren nicht mehr ganz neuester Standard aber alles gut gepflegt und sauber. Das Angebot zum Frühstück war mehr als überzeugend. Das Auschecken hat etwas gedauert, da eine Person sämtliche Aufgaben allein bewältigen musste, das verwunderte da im Service jede Menge Menschen tätig waren.

Katastrophale, respektlose und unfreundliche Behandlung durch die ältere, blonde Rezeptionistin. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer gebucht. Laut ******* Haustiere erlaubt. Auch kein Hinweis darauf, vorher mit dem Hotel in Kontakt zu treten. Zunächst wurde uns gesagt, dass kein Zimmer mehr frei sei, für einen Aufenthalt mit einem kleinen Hund. Nachdem wir daraufhin abreisen wollten, wurde uns durch die Rezeptionistin dennoch ein Zimmer nach langer Wartezeit angeboten. Ohne Hinweis darauf, dass es sich um ein Comfortzimmer und nicht um ein Superiorzimmer handelt. Neben dem Ärger bereits zu Beginn des Aufenthaltes
haben wir also ein " Downgrade" erfahren von superior zu comfort. Die gebuchte Leistung wurde nicht erfüllt.
Das Hotel ist im übrigen sehr geschmackvoll. Die übrigen Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und höflich. Das Frühstück hervorragend.
Die kurze Begegnung mit der Prinzessin war sehr freundlich und angenehm.

Ein wunderbares historisches Hotel. Mein Zimmer im schönen Nebengebäude war sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die unglaublich dicken Wände und die Bogenfenster vermitteln eine tolle Atmosphäre. Auch die direkte Umgebung mit den Altenberger Dom und die wunderbare Natur tragen zum wohlfühlen bei. Das Restaurant erfüllt kulinarische Spitzenansprüche.
