Super 8 by Wyndham Oceanside Downtown

Room was satisfactory for the time we were there. However, the noise in the surrounding rooms made the experience poor. People playing loud music to all hours of the night and morning and slamming doors was ridiculous! The noise was so bad a couple of nights that my sister and I couldn’t sleep and had to turn on our TV to try to drown out the noise! Please police this, implement a “quiet time” policy, and address offenders!

It has been 14 days since I checked out. Today I checked my credit card again to see if the deposit had been refunded, but I didn't see any refund. I have spent two times checking and then contacted Ctrip customer service. Is such overdue deposit refund theft? Is there any penalty? Don't book this rubbish hotel again.

Rooms were very nice compared to the last Supper 8 I stayed at in old town Night & Day different

Wife and I stayed with our late teen to preteen boys. Manager Jay was nice and accommodating. Room was updated and clean, a clean room is the most important to me. My family and I don't spend a lot of time in the room, but a clean room and bed are important. I don't think housekeeping swept and mopped the floor during our stay so our floor got some sand from beach trips. Breakfast was simple grab and go, coffee, fruit, and a small danish. Parking is tight in some areas, but manageable. Getting in and out of the hotel can be tricky as it sits by a busy intersection. If you are smart you can figure out how to get in and out easily. Being by the busy intersection comes with some noise, especially on the weekend. The road noise seemed to quiet down a lot overnight. If you are a light sleeper and early to bed this could be an issue. You could take a longer walk to the beach, but we found an lot with $2 daily parking that has easy access to the beach. We could also hear our neighboring rooms if they were a little loud. Thankfully our neighbors quieted down before too late. Overall I would stay here again.

Do not recommend They charged my credit card twice for the room and it's a been a hassle to get a refund. The room was very noisy and bright at night. There were no curtains to block out the bright parking lot lights (only shudders that didn't close all the way). The faucet leaked terribly. Otherwise, the room was clean and updated.

Very pleasant to stay at. What was noisy was the traffic. We were very close to an intersection. Other then, it was a pleasant place to stay at. Would stay here again.
