Location: About 300 yards behind vegetation to the beach. A few blocks from restaurants. Quiet. Hotel: Lobby is bland. One elevator for four floors. Internet slow at 3.83 Mbps download. Reasonably clean. Fitness room has basic equipment plus a rowing machine and a universal type weight machine. The seat on the bike is loose, the pedals do not have straps. There is a weight bench but no dumb bells. It has a hard rubberized floor and no floor mats. The commode in the restroom was stopped up; the paper towel dispenser was empty. The hand sanitizer dispensers in hallways were empty. Room: Great room on the fourth floor with an ocean view. Sofa faces the ocean. The room had a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub on the loft level. Good size. Decent mattress. Staff: The staff was proficient at check-in. In four days I did not see staff at the desk except at check-in time. You must ring a bell. Breakfast: Subpar unless you only eat scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. No yogurt, no adult cereals, no granola, no peanut butter, no cereal toppings, and no bananas.

I arrive the hotel at about 1:20am, the reception staff welcomed me and help me to check in very quickly. Generally speaking, the hotel is quiet and comfortable. However, my room is just beside the elevator, so noisy somehow in the morning.

Disrespectful people need to go
Everything was amazing. Except for when we were in the pool there was a very disrespectful family to a few woman who were enjoying the hot tub. They went and told front desk but I don’t think they handled it. The disrespectful family should have been asked to leave the pool!

The first room they tried to put us in had a large hairball in the middle of the bed. The second room didn’t have a working toilet, they left us a plunger so we could try to fix it ourselves. We told them this was unacceptable, we were paying good money for a room and that room should include a working bathroom. The front desk staff just smirked and said there was nothing she could do until several hours later. We called Comfort Inn customer service and they also said there was nothing they could do. Thankfully ******* got us a refund and found a room at a much better place just down the road, they had clean rooms and working toilets. Go to the Gray Gull. It’s just down the road. Better accommodations, better customer service, better bang for your buck.
